This Means Business

Dick

I caught Marble as she fell. I picked her up and. I walked to the med bay while she was in my arms. Bruce was there with Tim. Tim had a bandage on his hand and blood stains on his suit.

"What happened?" Bruce asked looking at Marble.

"I told her about Wally and she fainted. You?" I said eyeing the bandage.

"Joker slashed my hand when I was distracted." Tim said rocking his hand.

"Did you check Wally's suit?" I asked knowing fully well Bruce had put a tracker there.

"Yes, no signal." Bruce said and I frowned.

"That's never happened before." I pondered.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" A familar voice shouted.

"Don't shout... You'll freak her out! If you trigger her...." I threatened. Flash took a step back.

"You know what happened to Marble?" Bruce asked.

"Yeah, Wally came to me for advice." He said and I facepalmed.

"That's why he was amazing about the situation." I said.

"Joker wanted more than her body this time." Bruce said.

"UNDERGROUND!" Tim shouted.

"What?" Flash said.

"The GPS isn't working right? It's just like tunnels. The electromagnetic waves don't go through soil and rock. It's the only explanation." Tim rambled.

"Of course. Tim, can you program some alerts for when he surfaces?" I asked.

"A toddler could do that..." He said rushing off.

"That's why I gave you the job." I muttered.

"Says Mr. Not A Clue About Electronics." He snapped back and I gave him a bat-glare and he gave one back.

"Dick..." Marble croaked.

"Marbs. You feeling okay?" I asked.

"I just want Wally..." She said. I held her hand and squeezed.

"You will have him soon, I promise. Until then, want to watch films?" I asked.

"Okay then. Can they be Disney?" she asked.

"Of course. Let's go to Blüdhaven for some privacy." I said. We can have comfort.

"Blüdhaven?" She asked.

"That's where I live." I said.

"Let's go." She said getting up.

"Be careful in case you fall." I said as we walked to the zeta tubes. We walked in.

"B02 Nightwing. B27 Pink Flame." The computer called out. We arrived in an alleyway.

"Lets get takeout and munch then we can watch movies." Dick said and I nodded.

*Time Skip*

"What movie do you want to watch?" Dick asked.

"Moana." I said confidently. We sat down with trays of ice cream and pizza and wedges. The film started and we ate.

*after three films*

Dick

I leaned over at Marble who was laying asleep. I picked her up and laid her on my bed. I tucked her in and kissed her forehead.

"We'll find him. I promise." I whispered and walked off. 

I picked up the rubbish and went outside to the bigger trash can. I walked back up the stairs and went into my room to get some blankets, I thought I would be chivilous and sleep on the couch. 

As I walked in I saw a ninja with their sword unsheathed creeping up towards Marble. I ran and disarmed the ninja with a swift kick to the arm. They looked at me and I gave them a menacing glare.

"You made a mistake coming here." I said to the ninja.

"No, you made a mistake stopping me and getting involved scum!"  They said and they ran at me. 

I was defensive in the fight as I had to protect Marble. A punch here and a kick there, nothing special. They pulled their fist back but could have been a lot quicker hitting me. They were holding back. I had an idea. I placed a foot back and did a flip over them and ripped off their mask. They turned around and I saw a girl with bright green eyes and flowing blue hair. She looked young.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Just because you can see my face doesn't mean I give up." She going to throw a left hook at me. I grabbed her hand and reached into my belt and grabbed a pair of handcuffs. I cuffed her and woke up Marble. 

"Marbs? Come on. We have to go." I said and she stirred.

"Dick? Where are we going?" She asked. She saw the girl.

"Who's that?" She asked.

"I'll explain later. Let's go." I said as she got up.

Bruce

I sat at the desk in the cave sorting out files as Bart rifled through and didn't sort it out. Just like Barry.

"B02 Nightwing, B27 Pink Flame, B02 Guest." 

I turned around to see the guest and saw a girl with blue hair in a black jumpsuit and handcuffs.

"Who's this?" I asked.

"Someone who tried to kill Marb." Dick said and I smirked.

"Take her to the room, Marble stay here." I said.

Marble

"Why can't I come?" I asked.

"You don't want to trust me." He said rushing off. 

I sat at the computer and read up on some files about Joker.

How dare they? How is he still out there!? I read up about Joker then I saw his connection to Ra's al Ghul.

"Marble..." Dick said walking from around a corner.

"You know how dangerous he is yet he's still out there! You seriously let me relax after he gets taken by him!" I screamed.

"What?" Dick asked confused.

"Ra's al Ghul." I spat.

"He got taken by Joker?" Dick said in a tone you would use with a three year old. Which infuriated me.

"No, Ra's leaving with weapons just before Joker attacked me the first time. Ra's and Joker were seen on a mission dealing weapons. Ra's was in Gotham with Harley when Joker H-Hurt me... How are you this stupid?" I asked, or more screamed.

"Of course, I need to go talk to Bruce but can you keep finding connections? You may be onto something." He said rushing off. So I did.

"We know where he is!" Dick screamed coming to me.

"Where?" I asked.

"In Ra's Temple. Aeliana admitted." Dick said.

"The ninja?" I asked and he nodded.

"Let's go then." I said.
