Nunew's POV

The morning sunlight filtered through the large windows of my penthouse, but I had no interest in enjoying it. I was still reeling from the embarrassment of last night and the storm of social media backlash that followed.

Nat and James waved goodbye as they left my house. I watched their car until it was out of sight, then smiled and headed to my bedroom.

I sat up in bed, grabbed my phone, and dialed my manager, Fourth, without a second thought. The phone rang only twice before he answered, sounding slightly breathless.

"Nunew, what's up?"

"P'Leang, I need you to handle something for me," I said, my voice steely.

"I want all the news about last night taken down. Every single article, post, and video. And make sure the accounts spreading it are deleted."

He hesitated for a moment. "Nunew, that's going to be difficult. The story is everywhere."

"I don't care how difficult it is," I snapped.

"Just get it done. I'm paying you to manage my image, so manage it."

"Alright, alright," Leang replied, his tone placating. "I'll get my team on it right away. We'll do everything we can to clean this up."

"Good," I said, feeling a slight sense of relief. "And P'Leang, make sure this never happens again."

"I understand. We'll take care of it," he assured me before hanging up.

I tossed the phone onto the bed, rubbing my temples in frustration. As I leaned back against the pillows, my thoughts drifted back to Zee. He had dared to ignore me, to humiliate me. I wasn't going to let that slide.

Zee's POV

I collapsed onto the couch, exhausted from the day, and mindlessly scrolled through my social media feed. Among the usual updates and memes, a headline about Nunew Chawarin caught my eye. I couldn't help but be impressed by Nunew's widespread fame, but I quickly shrugged it off and continued scrolling.

Then, one particular post made me pause. A photo of my ex-girlfriend Janice with his new boyfriend.

My heart sank as I stared at the image. It had been almost two months since Janice and I parted ways, but the pain was still raw. Yes, I'm not really in a relationship and I had tried to move on, but seeing this post brought back memories of our happy times together and reopened wounds I thought were healing.

I wasn't over her, not by a long shot.

With a heavy sigh, I tapped on Janice's profile, debating whether to message her. I rolled my eyes in defeat.

"I should stop thinking about her" I whispered opening our group chat.

"Drinks, tonight." I messaged, not long enough they all seen my message.

"It's about her again right? I've seen the post." Max replied.

"That's her boyfriend right? The reason why you guys are always fighting all the time?" Mark added.

"Who else, lol." I replied.

"Are you okay bro?" Tutor messaged.

"Of course not tor, that's the reason we're having a drink or you want to just interview him and saw him crying like a baby." Yim replied.

I rolled my eyes looking at them talking about Janice. I typed quickly

"10pm, same place."
