Zee had spent the past two weeks trying to distract himself, filling his days with work and his nights with anything that would keep his mind off the silence. The emptiness weighed on him, especially during moments like this, when he found himself sitting alone on the balcony, the quiet city lights flickering below.

Every now and then, his thoughts would drift back to Nunew, and the question that haunted him: Is Nunew really pulling away?

It was late, and Zee was about to head inside when his phone buzzed with a message. A delivery notification. His brow furrowed in confusion—he hadn't ordered anything. Without thinking much of it, he went to the door, expecting some random package dropped off by mistake.

But when he swung the door open, the last thing he expected to see was him.

There, standing in the doorway, was Nunew.

For a split second, Zee froze, his breath catching in his throat. His heart seemed to skip a beat as he stood there, completely stunned. His mind raced, struggling to process what his eyes were seeing.

After two long weeks of silence, of wondering where things had gone wrong, of missing him more than he cared to admit—Nunew was here. Right in front of him, looking both familiar and out of reach, like a dream he wasn't quite sure was real.

Zee blinked, almost as if to make sure he wasn't imagining it. But Nunew didn't disappear. He was there, holding a small bag of takeout, the scent of Zee's favorite meal teasing the air between them.

Nunew looked almost exactly the same, but there was something softer in his expression.

"Nhu..."

It was all he could manage. His name that carried the weight of everything he'd been feeling, everything he hadn't been able to say while Nunew was gone. He was stunned, his heart pounding as if trying to catch up with the moment, with the reality that Nunew had actually come back.

Nunew's smile widened, that familiar softness in his eyes growing even warmer. He stepped forward, holding the takeout bag a little higher as if it were a peace offering.

"I thought maybe we could have dinner together. I didn't bring much, just your favorite."

"I... I've missed you."

Zee's heart skipped a beat. Those words, spoken so casually but with so much meaning behind them, sent a surge of warmth through him that he hadn't felt in weeks.

Before Zee could find the words to respond, Nunew gently nudged him with the bag of takeout, breaking the tension with a soft, teasing laugh.

"Are you going to invite me in, or are we eating in the hallway?"

The lightness of Nunew's tone snapped Zee out of his daze, pulling him back to the present. He let out a small, almost nervous laugh, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips despite the whirlwind of emotions inside him.

"Y-Yeah, come in."

He steps aside, still a little stunned but undeniably relieved, as Nunew walks past him. Zee closed the door behind them, leaning against it for a moment, trying to steady himself. Zee followed closely behind as Nunew led the way to the living room, his footsteps quiet but his presence undeniable.

When they reached the living room, Nunew hesitated for a second before slowly turning around, ready to face Zee.

But as soon as he turned, he found himself inches away from Zee, their faces so close that he could feel the warmth of Zee's breath. His heart skipped a beat, and a jolt of surprise ran through him.
