★CHAPTER TWO★

TW: Mention of attempted suicide, sh, and relapse

AIDENS POV

I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep, I looked over and saw that ash wasn't next to me anymore. I looked around and saw her sitting at my desk, remembering i left my journal open when i had written in it yesterday. And ash was reading it. "Ash what are you doing?" I got up panicking. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and hugged me. "Aiden please talk to me, tell me everything, I'll listen"
I hugged her back, tears forming in my eyes. Ashlyn almost never cries, not unless it's serious. I tried to recall what the journal page said that she had read. It talked about how today was the 1 year anniversary of my attempt, and how i recently relapsed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you." "It's not your fault Aiden. Please tell me everything, i don't want you to go through this alone."
I sobbed in her arms, I told her everything, and i just kept sobbing. this is the first time anyone actually listened to me or cared about me. "Aiden if you ever need to talk or feel that way again please call or text me, or come over, anything. just promise me you wont ever attempt again. I love you aiden" I felt butterflies in my stomach, she probably
meant it in a platonic way, but still. I also noticed that recently she was getting more clingy with me, usually she won't even let me sit next to her. She always told me how much she hated physical touch. "Ash can I ask you something?" "What is it?" "You always told me how much you hate physical touch, but recently you've been really clingy with me even though I'm barely allowed to just sit next to you" i noticed her face get red a bit. "I guess I've just gotten more comfortable around you." she smiled, and it looked genuine this time, usually all her smiles are forced-i can always tell
when she forces a smile or laugh. I knew she was gonna kill me for this, but I decided to tease her anyway. "Why's ur face getting all red huh?" I grinned. "Shut up! no it's not!" her face got even more red now, it was really noticable.
"you look like a tomato!" i laughed. "You looked like a tomato this whole time and i never said anything!!" "Did not!" "did to!" "did not!" "did to!" "uggghhh you win" Ash giggled and lay on top of my chest.
i smirked and whispered "your face is still red" and she hid her face with her hands.
i started to play music and
the song "good looking" by Suki Waterhouse began to play. Ash uncovered her face and it was still really red.

ASHLYN'S POV

I decided that if i didnt hint to aiden that i liked him he would probably never tell me if he liked me. The song "good looking" by Suki Waterhouse came on and i immediately had an idea.
I uncovered my face and looked up at aiden, usually i hate eye contact but with him, it just felt right. it was akward or uncomfortable for me at all. "This song reminds me of someone" i said, looking up at aiden. "Who?" "you" i mumbled, i wanted him to hear me but also didnt at the same time. His face got really red so im guessing he heard me. My heart was racing and my stomach felt as if it was doing somersaults, i hated but loved the feeling at the same time.
"me?" aiden asked. i nodded,
somewhat panicking, i think that was too big of a 'hint'. He grinned at me "And why is that?" he put his hand on my cheek, looking at my lips.
screw it.
"I like you" His face turned a light shade of red "And i love you"
I was kinda shocked, I didn't expect that to be his answer. "Sooo.... you'll be my boyfriend?" "Of course i will" "But can we wait a bit to tell the group? i feel like tyler would make fun of us n i dont wanna deal with him rn" "Anything for you my love"
Nicknames already? hes down bad.

TIME SKIP: 3 DAYS LATER AT A SLEEPOVER WITH THE GROUP

me and the group were all having a sleepover in the bus graveyard, I was wearing Aiden's hoodie, watching taylor and tyler go up against each other in uno.
"PLUS 20 HELL YEAH!" i winced at taylor yelling. "taylor quiet down" aiden said "sorryyyy" "how did you even get a plus 20 card?" "custom card" "you can do that??" "yeah" i giggled at tyler, he rage quit after taylor made a plus 100 card. "WHO ARE YOU LAUGHING AT CARROT TOP?" tyler shouted. Aiden almost instantly covered my ear "tyler quiet down!" "well maybe she shouldn't laugh at me!" "maybe you shouldn't rage quit, and all she did was giggle a bit."
"whatever"
"c'mon ty! dont get all cranky!!" Taylor said as she stood up and walked up next to tyler.
"im not cranky!" "mhm totally" taylor replied sarcastically. I lied in aidens lap, he played with my hair while i scrolled on Instagram.
i heard some giggling and whispering, i looked over at the others, they were all looking at me and aiden. "What are you guys looking at? i just want a pillow to lay on"
"theres an actual pillow right there" Taylor said as she pointed to a pillow. "Not my fault aidens more comfy" i shrugged and went back on my phone. "Are you giys dating or something?" "No?" i tried to not be suspicious. "you sure?" logan smirked. "I'm sure." "Are you surely sure?" tyler said. he knows it annoys me when he does that. "i. am. sure. not shut up before i show up in ALL of your closets with a knife"
Ben looked over at me, signalling no. I giggled and sat up. It was dark out by now, so i brought the whole group outside. (A/N idk when logans birthday is so im not gonna say any specific date) Today was logans birthday, i know he loves space so i saved up to buy him a telescope. "Logan i have a surprise for you" i smiled and went into the bus and came out with a box wrapped in blue wrapping paper.
When he opened it he was ecstatic. "Thank you so much! How much even was this? " "About $150," "You spent that much money on me?" "of course i would, you're like my little brother" "Anyway while you guys set that up" Aiden grinned and grabbed me by my wrist and ran away with me. I laughed as we ran "where are we going?" "you'll see!" We climbed up a ladder and sat on top of a different bus than the one we hangout in.
We both looked up at the stars for a while, there weren't many lights near my house, so you could faintly see the milky way. I looked at aidens eyes,  they looked at peace yet at the same time, as if he was going through a lot of stress right now. His smile looked weak and forced as he stared into the sky.

3RD PERSON

Ashlyn reached over and kissed aiden on the cheek, his face turning a light shade of pink. He grinned and lay down in ashlyns lap, admiring her face. "I think i have another birthday gift for logan" Ashlyn said, looking a bit nervous. "What is it?" "I think im ready to tell the group that we're dating" Aiden had the biggest smile "Yayy! I've been dying to tell ben!" They both got up and started walking back to the group. Once they got there, they saw logan admiring the moon through his telescope. "We have something to tell you!!" aiden exclaimed. The group looked confused "We're dating!!" He finished "I knew it!" taylor said. "BLEEEHH" tyler gagged "yayy!! im so happy for you!" replied logan. ben typed on him phone "is that why shes been coming over everyday for the past week?" "WHAT! EXPOSING ME NOW?? TRAITOR! also no we've only beem dating for like 3 days. ANDDD ARE YOU AND TAYLOR DATING? BECAUSE SHES BEEN COMING OVER EVERYDAY FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS" "EXCUSE ME?" tyler shouted. Ashlyn covered her ears, yet giggle at them arguing. "YEAH. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT MR 'BENNY' AS I HEAR TAYLOR CALLING YOU" ben blushed and typed on his phone. "Do you want me to talk about what happened at 10:35 pm, exactly 2 weeks ago?" "wait what was that?" "With all the pictures you hung up and what you were chanting?" "WAIT IM SORRY NO STOP" "thats what i thought" "wait what was that about?" taylor asked. "nothing" replied aiden. "pleaseeee" Ashlyn begged. ben typed on it phone. "oh im sure ashlyn would be pleased to know" "BEN NO I SWEAR IF YOU TELL THEM-" "2 weeks ago, 10:35pm. Aiden had printed out pictures off of his phone on ashlyn and hung them up, and set 2 candles in front of one and was chanting 'POOKIE WOOKIE BEAR' over and over while on his hands and knees" "Ben you're so dead" "WHAT? IM ABSOLUTELY FLABBERGASTED" ashlyn shouted. "NOVEMBER 16TH 9:23PM. TAYLOR WAS SLEEPING OVER AND YOU TYPED ON YOUR PHONE QUOTE ON QUOTE 'goodnight babe' WANNA EXPLAIN??"

ASHLYNS POV

despite aiden shouting a bit, i still found it funny how he was arguing with ben. i watched ben typing on his phone. "Aiden. Clark. if you say one more thing about me and taylor then you're not sigma" and when i tell you this kid started VIOLENTLY sobbing, im not exaggerating. "how could you say that! i am sigma!" "dont worry aiden i think your sigma" i said, trying not to laugh, yet i still burst out laughing. "See at least Ashlyn's nice" aiden said in a sassy tone, turning away from ben. i laughed even harder, until i began wheezing and taylor, tyler, and logan started laughing with me. I kept wheezing from laughing so hard and tyler fell over, which made me laugh even harder "im gonna pee!" taylor shouted "HELP ME I CANT GE *wheeze* UP" tyler said as he lay on the ground.
aiden and ben started laughing with us too, until our stomachs hurt from laughing so much and i had the hiccups. "It wasn't even *hic* that fu-*hic*nny! i dont know *hic* why i was laughing*hic* so hard" Aiden lay down in my lap, playing with my hair. "Get a room love birds" Tyler teased. Aiden reached up and kissed my cheek "nah i think were good" my face turned a light shade of pink, the same shade aidens was "bleh" tyler replied. Eventually we all got tired and went to lay down in the bus, tyler and logan together, taylor and ben together, and me and aiden together.

HIIII ik this is a kinda random time to end the chapter, but I've been writing this since last night but never got to finish it because my friend came over. ALSOO i wanted to make this one really long and last night i left off at around 1500 words, but when i woke up it deleted some and went down to 1200 :(( also im really tired and down wanna keep you guys waiting for another chapter so im just leaving it at this until tomorrow. I wanna try to have a new chapter almost everyday since schools out, but idk it takes forever to write so i might just do a new chapter ecery few days. ALSO SORRY IF THERES ANY MISS SPELLINGS IM TOO TIRED TO READ THIS WHOLE THING LOOKING FOR THEM BYE POOKIES!!
