ASHLYNS POV

You know, it was a pretty normal night, i went to sleep, fought some phantoms, then went back to sleep. Now, what I didn't expect was for aiden to shake me awake. "Ash! Ash! wake uppppp!! pleeaassee" I groaned and rubbed my eyes, sitting up. "When did you even get here?" i had to force my eyes open so I wouldn't fall back asleep. "I couldn't sleep last night and since you always let me stay over i figured you wouldn't mind" He said, looking at me with the biggest grin. I looked over at the clock, it was 6:31 am. "Yeah I wouldn't have minded if you hadn't woken me up at 6 am" i let myself fall back onto my bed, pulling the blanket over me and shutting my eyes.  "Ash waitttt" "what?" i whined. "can we at least cuddle?" I turned around, still under the blanket, and wrapped my arms around him, burying my face into his chest. "thanksss ashyyy" "ashy?" "Mhm!" "goodnight." "night ashy!!" i finally drifted to sleep, when just a few hours later (its just after her parents left for work) i was woken up to a loud thud. I instantly sat up "Aiden what did you do?" i automatically said, seeing aiden laying on the ground, holding his head with his hands. "I tried to do a backflip off your bed! my head hurts now" he said as he sat up "Aiden! you could've seriously gotten hurt! did you hear or feel a crack at all, is there blood coming out of your mouth or nose? Is your head bleeding? let me see your pupils, i need to make sure they aren't dilated!" I rushed over to aiden, putting my hand on the back of his head and looking at his eyes. "Ash calm down I'm fine, i just hit my head on the floor a bit" "I still think we should go to the doctor and make sure you're ok" "Ash. I'm not going to the doctor because i failed to do a backflip." "Well do you feel weird at all? are you sure you're ok? What if you cracked your skull?" "I think i would be in way more pain if i did" I let out a relieved sigh. "Just be more careful, lay down I'll get some pain killers for your head and some water and food." I said, helping him up. "Wait ash can i please come with you?" "No aiden lay down, here you can watch something on my laptop, ok?" I set my laptop on my bed, typing in the password. "Ok fine just don't take forever." "I won't, at most I'll be 5 to 6 minutes, and while I'm gone make sure you're laying down NOT sitting up! rest your head" "Ash really, I'm fine It's not that serious, you're worrying too much" "Just lay down" I said, walking out of the room and heading downstairs. It wasn't the healthiest breakfast, but i made aiden his favorite, dino nuggets. The air fryer takes too long so i put them in the microwave, then got some ice water and painkillers. I brought it all upstairs, and like promised, i was only gone for 5 minutes. "Here i made you your favorite," I said, setting the plate down on my bed, next to aiden. "Thanks ash" "Oh and let me check your eyes again" "What do my eyes even have to do with hitting my head?" "If you crack your skull then your pupils dilate, at least sometimes they do" I said as i got close to his face and checked his eyes again. I caught his eyes looking at my lips, my face turning a light shade of pink. I backed up and sat on my bed, next to where aiden was laying down. "Alright i guess you are okay, idiot." "I told you, I've never seen you get so worried before" "I wasnt worried! i was just making sure you were ok" "Mhm keep telling yourself that" I scoffed, laying down next to aiden.

Me: why did i go to sleep, completely alone other than my parents in my house, then wake up with aiden next to me, him waking me up at SIX IN THE MORNING. and then i finally fall back asleep and wake up to a loud thud, who wants to guess what happened? 😐
