Ayano woke up to the sound of her alarm blaring in her ear. She immediately hit the snooze button, exhausted and annoyed. She really didn't feel like heading to school today, as they were all going to have an assembly for the majority of the morning. This was mandatory for their school, as they went over grades, clubs, and the overall safety of the school. It didn't really matter to them however. They already knew that no threats would harm her, or the ones she cared for.

It felt like mere seconds before they closed their eyes and went back into her deep slumber. She wanted to go back to the wonderful dream she had, where she and Amai lived in the countryside in their private house, enjoying the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, destiny had other plans for her as she heard her door open, along with quiet footsteps leading up to her bed. She sighed before speaking. "What do you want, Ayato?" She asked, annoyed at her twin for waking her up. Ayato sucked his teeth before responding. "How do you always know it's me?" He asked, crossing his arms.

To tell the truth, Ayano always had this really weird ability of sensing who was around her, and identifying footsteps and walk patterns. She didn't know if she inherited it from her mother or what. "Did mom ask you to wake me?" They mumbled, rubbing their eyes as they sat up. "If so, tell her I don't feel like going today. I'll probably call in sick or whatever." They glared at their brother, waiting for a response. He simply shook his head and motioned to the door. "It's actually your girlfriend who wanted me to get you. She's in the kitchen being held hostage by mom and dad, so you better come and get her before they show her your baby photos." He explained, rolling his eyes as he proceeded to walk out of Ayano's room.

The teenage girl's ears perked up as he mentioned her girlfriend, to which she quickly hopped out of bed and exited her room, almost tripping on her covers in the process. She ran down the halls and down the stairs, heading straight to the kitchen. Sure enough, Amai was there, sitting between Ms. and Mr. Aishi, looking through a photo album titled "Our sweet daughter", the title alone making her physically cringe while looking at it. "Amai, what are you doing here so early?" She asked, walking towards the dinner table. "It's only 6AM, the sun hasn't even risen yet."

Amai looked up at her and smiled, embarrassed that she was desperate to see her girlfriend so early, and happy that she saw her.. "Sorry Yanni-Pie. I just wanted to hang out with you before school. Also, your mom and dad invited me in, which was sweet of them." She giggled, looking back at the photo album. "You were so cute as a baby. Y-you still are...of course." She stuttered, face turning a bright pink. Ms. Aishi smiled as she stood up and walked over to Ayano. "Of course she's adorable. She only has the cutest dad in the world." She stated, pulling her daughter in for a tight hug, making her speechless. Mr. Aishi then got up and joined in on the family hug. "Not to mention the prettiest mom." He added, kissing the top of Ayano's head.

"Can you tell who's their favorite?" Ayato spoke, entering the dining area to sit next to Amai, to which the girl patted his shoulder solemnly. Ms. Aishi pouted before letting Ayano go, looking at her son. "Ayano might be your father's favorite, but who let you sleep in our bed until you were 10 because you were afraid of thunder?" She asked, walking up to her son and pinching his cheeks. His face went red before he looked away. "You did mommy." He mumbled, making his mother smile and let go. "That's right I did."

"Oh, before I forget," Mr. Aishi started, dashing out of the room before coming back in seconds later with big rainbow balloons, one of which had the words "Pride" written on it. "Happy pride month to you kiddies." He smiled, making Ms. Aishi gasp. "Oh my, is it that time already!? I have to go shopping for the dinner we're having later!" She stated, going over to kiss both of her children and Amai on the forehead. "Have a good day at school, kids!" She yelled as she rushed out of the house. Amai looked at both Ayano and Ayato, confused about everything. "Mom and dad throw us "pride parties" every year ever since Ayato came out gay and I came out bisexual." Her girlfriend explained, sitting at the dinner table right next to her.
