"Dinner is ready, children!" Mrs. Aishi yelled, setting up the table. "I swear they never listen to me..." She mumbled, walking over to her husband who sat at the table. He looked over at her and frowned. "You know we have to talk about it eventually, Ryoba." Jokichi stated, crossing his arms. Ryoba looked at him surprised before chuckling nervously. "What are you talking about sweetheart?" She asked, leaning down to kiss him. Jokichi stopped her, placing his hand on her mouth. "You know what I'm talking about Ryoba...we both got that phone call from the school. Hell, you even picked her up from jail..."

Ryoba's face went dark as she tensed up. She really did not want to discuss what went down at Akademi weeks ago. She didn't want to think of Ayano as a violent person, because that was her baby. Additionally, it made her think of the murder of Sumire and what she had to do to be with him. "I know we have to talk about it..." She responded before putting up a chair and sitting down. "But it's so fucking hard..." She whispered, teary eyed. Jokichi held one of her hands and squeezed it firmly. "I don't want my babies to end up just like me...broken and a fucking mess..." Ryoba weeped, tears falling from her eyes.

Mr. Aishi wiped his wife's tears, nodding silently. "You're not broken or a mess...you're just a little strange that's all..." He reassured, kissing her hand. Mrs. Aishi shook her head and pulled her hand away softly. "My mom didn't care about me or my sister. She knew she'd be raised broken like her and she didn't care! No one did!" She cried loudly before Jokichi shushed her by giving her a kiss on the lips. "I cared. And I still do Ryoba." He spoke softly. Ryoba looked at him sadly. "B-but...I killed-"

"That was almost 40 years ago darling..." He cut her off. "I waited for you and loved you then. I sure as hell love you now." Jokichi continued, flashing her a soft smile. Ryoba sadly smiled at him before going to kiss him softly again. "I love you sweetheart." She said, looking at him with love in her eyes. "And I love you too darling...you and all of our wonderful children."

"Wonderful? That's a bit of an overstatement, Uncle Kich." Someone commenting snarky, walking into the dining room. Ryoba and Jokichi looked at the person and smiled. "Yamara, a pleasure to see you sweetheart!" Ryoba stood up, walking over to give the girl a hug. Yamara Aishi was Ayano and Ayato's older cousin. She used to babysit them when they were younger. "Same to you Auntie Rybi." The young adult smiled, pulling away from the hug. "How's my baby sister doing?" Ryoba asked, tilting her head. "Oh don't you worry Auntie, mama is doing just fine. She still has her hands all over my father." She laughed, shaking her head.

"Speaking of which, where are the little punks?" Yamara asked, smirking. Ryoba perked up as she pointed towards the stairs. "They're upstairs in their rooms! Oh and maybe keep the insults to a minimum...Ayano has a guest over." She wiggled her eyebrows teasingly before running upstairs. "Kids!"

Yamara raised an eyebrow. "Sweet, baby Yano has a man now? Didn't know she had that in her." Jokichi shook his head. "Girlfriend actually." He corrected her, to which she hummed in acknowledgement. "Girlfriend...alright. Might be the first Aishi to swing that way, that's cool." She nodded. "Is Yato a fruitcake too or...." She dragged on. Her uncle thought for a moment before shrugging. "Possibly. He never tells me anything."

------------------------------------------

Amai, Ayano, and Ayato were inside his room playing video games. Well, Amai and Ayato were. Ayano was still technically grounded and couldn't touch any technology related things until her punishment was lifted. The male twin, at first, dismissed Amai from playing with him. "No way am I letting your girlfriend play on my Saiko Game Advanced. She probably hasn't even seen a game console in her life."

That was sort of true. While Amai was growing up, she had no interest in video games or anything like that. Her main talent was cooking. But, with a little bit of persuasion (and a promise of free cupcakes) he finally gave her a controller as they played "Fortcraft". Surprisingly, Amai was actually super good at it, killing Ayato in their 1.v.1's constantly. Ayano smiled at this, enjoying her brother getting frustrated and upset at the stupid game for a change.

"How the hell are you so good?" He asked, dropping his controller as she won for the 10th time in a row. Amai simply shrugged her shoulders, smiling. "Beginners luck, I suppose." She chuckled. "The hell are you doing in the cooking club, videogames are your true calling." He pointed out, making her giggle and shake her head nervously. "Goodness no! I'm way too shy to be playing with others anyways..."

After a while of their banter, Ryoba walked into the room, crossing her arms. "What did I tell you, Ayano. No video games or technology at all." She said disappointingly. Ayano shook her head before pointing towards Amai. "Ayato and Amai were playing, I was just watching." She muttered, being reminded she was still on punishment. Amai waved her hand nervously, looking at the scary woman. "H-hello Ms. Aishi..." She greeted. Ryoba soon smiled and waved at the girl. "Hello Amai, pleasure to see you after a while." She went back to her cheery nature.

"Anyways, clean yourselves up nicely. Your big cousin is here for dinner and I want y'all to be nice to her." She spoke, walking out of the room. Ayano and Ayato looked at each other with wide eyes, leaving Amai a bit confused.

"Yappy Yamara." They said in unison. 965

A/N: Hello everyone. Another part finished and another piece of lore added. Ayano's cousin doesn't have a canon name, so I used the name Yamara. Part 3 will reveal everything about her.

Thanks for being patient with me. This story is fun, but I literally brainstorm everything and this is basically all a huge first draft (I post as soon as I'm done with the chapter)
