Chapter Twenty-One -----------------------.

Why the fuck am I no longer safe. Is my sperm donor out of the wild or what? Just that thought alone gave me fright, because I know what he can do to my family especially my mom.

"I am safe Damon, I am inside the most ruthless pack's pack house filled up with Lycans. I don't need protection and besides I am already protected by my own skills." I replied chewing my nails.

"Stop being dependent on your skills only. It is of no use with what's going on presently and I am sure even the least rank warrior here can finish you up in minutes." He said playfully and I gasped at him, feeling beyond shock. So he cracks silly jokes now.

"Is that a challenge Mr. Ruthless?" I asked in a teasing tune and he just shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe, Maybe not." He answered and I eyed him.

"I hope you were told I like challenges?" I said stretching my limbs jokingly. "Point taken miss but I'm in no space you challenge you" he replied in his most gentleman manner and I was wowed.

"I need you to move into my house" he blurted out, all traces of the playfulness long gone now.

"Move to which house?" I asked after sometime, taking in what he said and sending them into my brain for processing. "My house of course Issa." He answered looking at me like as if I just grew few more heads at his statement.

"But you live here in the pack house." I stated the obvious. "No I don't, I live at my house." He replied and I snorted in return.

"Oh! Please, save me from those lies. You said you don't live here in the pack house, then why have you been staying here for the past weeks?" I asked walking past him to the living room.

"That's because, I've got unfinished business here in the pack house." He answered following me to the living room.

"Unfinished business, you say. That's none of my business right? As usual." I question picking some of the unfinished chips I found on the table and throwing it into my mouth. "Yes" his voice void.

"What are you even doing here?" I asked throwing another chip into my mouth.

"I just finished telling you why I am here. To ask you to move into my house, you are not safe." He answered picking up the TV remote and pressing a button on it. A football match came up and he hissed loudly before dropping the remote back to where it was and looking at me.

"Oh! That, I will have to think about it" I drawled standing up from the couch and walking back into the kitchen with him behind me.

"What's there to think about. You are not safe and that's enough reason" he stated.

Turning back to dish him back a reply, I and Damon almost into each other and our skin touched making a tingling spark and shock spread around the area we touched.

Immediately I turned back, totally forgetting what I wanted to say to him. I went to the microwave, opened it and brought out a plate of a slice of pizza from the other day I, Seb and Maddy did a movie night. Dropping the plate of pizza on the counter, I place the bowl of spaghetti Tricia wanted to eat into the microwave.

"Who is Elena?" I blurted out and immediately Damon's face became more blank, if that is even possible.

"That's none of ........." I cut him off. "My business".
