~3rd POV~

By midnight things have gotten...slightly out of hand. Half the group is completely wasted: Suga, Oikawa, Makki, Mattsun, and Bokuto. The rest isn't too far behind.

They had set up karaoke. Well, they "set" up karaoke. They really just pulled up a playlist from YouTube on the TV, and grabbed a hair brush and a wooden spoon to use as microphones. So it's basically karaoke.

Currently, it's Oikawa and Makki standing in front of the TV, singing completely off tune to a pop song, Suga dying of laughter from where he sits on one of the couches, Daichi's hand on the boy's thigh as he watches as well, amused.

Akaashi was the most sober, which is why he had his phone out. Just to make sure they would all remember it in the morning. Bokuto is next to him, arm around him, drinking what Akaashi told him was vodka and fruit punch but it was really just fruit punch. He was too drunk to notice.

When the song is over, Mattsun practically drags Makki back to the chair, begging him to stop singing, which leads to Oikawa making eye contact with Akaashi.

"Come on Keiji it's your turn."

"No way." He may be drunk but he doesn't think he's that drunk yet. Oikawa just grins and walks over, grabbing his arm.

"Nope, this is not optional. You're singing a song with me whether you like it or not." Akaashi groans and struggles a bit before Bokuto gives him a little push off the couch, letting Oikawa drag the boy away, him sending Bokuto a quick glare before he is looking at some songs to choose from. Bokuto downs the rest of his drink, getting up and heading toward the kitchen.

He ends up filling his cup with juice and a bit of vodka. Not too much he knows he's wasted and knows Akaashi will get mad since he said only one more drink, so he only adds a bit, ears perking up when he hears the song begin in the living room, Akaashi's voice suddenly floating around the room. It draws Bokuto to quickly leave the kitchen, seeing Akaashi sing with Oikawa, attempting to look annoyed but it's clear he's having fun. Bokuto smiles, leaning against the wall next to the entrance of the kitchen, taking a moment to just watch the boy.

Watch him smile and roll his eyes at Oikawa's over-the-top energy. Listen to the sound of his voice which he always thinks sounds good but Bokuto truly does love to hear Akaashi sing. He's heard him like twice so this is...rare. It makes him just smile, watching when Akaashi doesn't even realize.

God, he loves him so much.

He hears an amused scoff come from next to him, drawing his attention to Iwaizumi who he didn't realize had appeared, a cold beer in hand as he leans against the wall next to the boy.

"What?"

"Oh, nothing I just...I don't think I've ever seen someone so fucking in love before." Bokuto laughs, looking back at the singing boy with a sigh before he groans.

"Ugh I know he's too perfect and beautiful, it's not fair." Iwaizumi chuckles and takes a sip of his beer.

"How did you two meet anyway? He's a second year, right?" Bokuto nods.

"Yeah, Suga and Oikawa met him at the rink when he first moved here. So back when I was a 1st year and he was a 3rd year in junior high. They invited him to hang out when they learned he would be going to our high school, so they introduced us."

"Did you just instantly know?"

"In a way yeah. I just...when I first saw him kind of froze. Because I thought he was so beautiful. And I like asked him out two weeks after meeting him."

"Damn."

"Hey, he said yes." Iwaizumi laughs before going quiet for a moment, taking a long sip of beer.
