~3rd POV~

The rink is technically closed for the day, but Suga happens to have a key, something both Akaashi and Oikawa question but Suga just gives a smirk before letting them into the rink. He locks it once they are inside so no one else can get in since other facilities in the building are open to the public.

Akaashi, Oikawa, and Iwaizumi take seats on the bleachers and put on skates while Suga helps the rest get skates from the rental area he also happens to have a key to. Daichi gives him a look when he unlocks the door but again Suga says nothing. Just lets them in and gets everyone skates.

"Shall we all watch Suga skate first?" Akaashi says when everyone else sits down to put on their skates, Suga sending the boy a harsh glare.

"No." Akaashi smirks and Daichi looks up.

"Aww come on. I wanna see." Suga rolls his eyes, expertly tying his skates.

"You have seen the videos, I think that's enough."

"Suga how are you going to manage at the skating comps coming up if you can't even perform in front of a couple of your friends and your boyfriend." Suga sends Oikawa a harsh glare as well but he just smiles kindly.

"Shut up."

"No Suga come on we wanna see!" Makki chimes in and Suga just groans. Oikawa grins and then hops up.

"I'm putting the music on." And with that, he leaves before Suga can even argue or complain. Makki and Mattsun follow while Akaashi helps Bokuto with his skates. Suga sighs and looks down, hands clasping together.

"Hey." He hears Daichi say quietly next to him and looks up. "If you really don't want to, that is totally okay. I don't want you to feel pressured." Suga can't help looking at him with a bit of surprise.

"Really?" And Daichi just smiles sweetly, gently placing his hand over Suga's.

"Yeah, of course." Suga turns his hand over so it slips comfortably into Daichi's. "I mean yeah I want to see you skate, but I can easily wait until you're ready. I've seen videos and you're awesome so seriously, if you aren't comfortable with this, it's okay." Suga just stares at him, seeing the sincerity and Suga kind of hates how anytime Daichi gives him the ability to say no it surprises him. Makes him feel...relieved. "Don't do anything you don't want to do. Ever." And Suga...god Suga doesn't know how he got so lucky. He feels himself smile, feels his heart pound a little harder and he squeezes Daichi's hand.

"Thank you but I'm okay. I want to." Daichi gives him an unsure look.

"You sure?" Suga glances over at his friends, seeing Oikawa hooking his phone up to the sound system while Makki and Mattsun watch. He then looks at the ice, glossy and untouched. He smiles and turns to Daichi.

"Yeah. I'm sure. But thank you." Daichi smiles.

"You don't have to thank me. You always have free will. Don't be afraid to say no." And Suga feels himself blush a bit, nodding in lieu of a response since he really can't say anything. So instead he just leans up, Daichi meeting him halfway and kissing him softly. Soft in a way that just has any anxieties or memories vanishing into thin air.

And Suga just lets himself fall. Lets himself feel. Forget about everything around him and just...exist in Daichi. Feeling so alive and so...happy he can't fully comprehend it. But he likes it. A lot.

"Come on Suga! Quit making out with your boyfriend and get your ass on the ice." Suga and Daichi pull away, Suga rolling his eyes but the annoyance doesn't exist with the smile he wears as he looks at Daichi who is blushing slightly. Daichi leans in and gives him one more short kiss before pulling away and standing up.
