"It feels so right to be here with you"

Despite all her confidence and lack of care for feelings, Holly Norris found herself nervous at the concept of going on a serious date. She never put any real emotion in a relationship because she never ran the risk of messing with hearts. Her life style had been simple, see them once and never again.

She kept coming back to George Russell and she worried that she'd already been getting attached.

"Come on, Holly. You're drop dead gorgeous, you can do this," Holly told herself in the mirror.

Holly's hands trembled slightly as she smoothed her dress and glanced at her reflection in the mirror one last time. She'd spent the past hour fussing over her appearance, nervous anticipation bubbling within her. With a final deep breath, she grabbed her purse and headed out the door.

She'd already been training all day and she knew her trainers wouldn't like to hear that she was going out but it was her business. Holly had never been great with rules but they wouldn't get rid of their star goalkeeper anyway.

The place where they had agreed to meet was a cosy, intimate spot with warm lighting and rustic decor. Holly liked the atmosphere immediately—it was inviting and made her feel more at ease. As she walked in, she spotted George at a corner table. He stood up when he saw her, a broad smile spreading across his face.

"Hey, Holly," he greeted her warmly, pulling out her chair. "You look great."

"Thanks, George," Holly replied.

She took a seat, and they exchanged a few pleasantries as they looked over the menu. After they ordered their meals, the conversation began to flow more naturally. They talked about their jobs, their hobbies, and their mutual friends. George was easy to talk to, and Holly found herself genuinely enjoying his company.

"So, Holly," George said, leaning forward slightly, "How did you get into football?"

Holly's face lit up.

"t started when I was a kid. Lando was into his racing but I never had much interest in it and dad wanted me to find something I loved to. He taught me all about the rules and strategies, and I just fell in love with the game. Doesn't make it any better for my mum when I'm throwing myself at the ground."

"I bet," George laughed. "I'm surprised your dad has time for anything, he's always with one of you."

"My parents care so much, I owe my career and life to them," Holly admitted. "My hobby was cheaper than Lando's, mind you."
