The sun was just beginning to rise over Silverstone Circuit, casting a golden hue over the historic track. The air buzzed with excitement, the sound of mechanical equipment and staff moving around to get to work.

Holly Norris was too busy being conflicted.

She had avoided George around the paddock on Saturday, thinking it would keep the attention off them and on the racing. In truth, it hadn't and all it created was more rumours that weren't true. It seemed like a wise idea to just get it over with and let everyone know about it.

However, it did bring along problem number two. She hadn't told anyone about George other than Lando. It wasn't on purpose but Holly hadn't been home and it wasn't something she wanted to bring up over a call.

"Morning Hols," Her dad greeted as they sat down from breakfast.

"Morning," Holly replied, sipping her coffee.

"You seem nervous, what it is?" Her mum questioned, narrowing her eyes.

"I'm not nervous!" Holly protested. "I just need to tell you something. It's good, I promise...at least I hope so."

Her parents nor her grandfather replied. They just stared at her and waited for her to explain what was going on. She explained in the most relaxed way that she could, leaving out the one night stands from the story (they didn't need to know that), and by the end, she was the one waiting for the reaction.

"Oh, that's adorable!" Her mum claimed with a smile. "I was hoping you'd get a boyfriend sooner or later, it's been incredibly boring—"

"Mum," Holly whined.

"Well, it's true! And George seems like a lovely man, Lando's been friends with him for ages," Her mum continued. "Make sure you invite him around our house as soon as possible."

"Dad?" Holly redirected.

"I'm with your mother. Just make sure that you are happy," Adam Norris concluded with a smile. "Let me guess, Lando gave him a brother's talking to."

"He did," Holly huffed. "It's like he thinks I'm sixteen and not a grown adult. As for bringing him home mum, I'll see if I can find time but I'm going to invite him to the World Cup anyway."

With that over and done with, Holly was glad that her newfound relationship would be a little more relaxed. She didn't know what she was doing but she was hoping George did; relationships had never been her thing.
