EREN POV:
"Eren? Can you even see me??"
"Kinda," I said back to her, my arms rested on the bands of the ring as I sat down and she wiped the blood off my face, my eye was already swollen.
I was breathing heavily, and y/n was gently wiping the blood off my face. I don't know if it was because my face was on the verge of becoming numb but her touching the cloth on my skin felt so gentle. I felt like I kept going in and out, her wiping vaseline on my cut above my eyebrow after she cleaned my face felt so soft.
She handed me my water bottle which I used to get the blood out of my mouth. For some reason, I really didn't want her here. I felt more on edge with her here as if something was bound to happen simply because she decided to come.
My time was up and she finished putting Vaseline over the cut above my eyebrow, she moved away from the ring and I got up to finish the last round.
Y/N POV:
You didn't watch. You refused for, the sound of it all was enough for you. You sat down next to Connie and kept your head down the entire time, looking at your phone occasionally but trying not to look up as Connie sat next to you cheering whenever Eren got the fake occasional punch in on the other guy.
When it was finally all over, you looked over at Connie.
"I'm gonna go wait by the car," you excuse, dying for some fresh air and away from the sound of people cheering over all the blood on the ring.
Connie nodded at you while you stood up and walked yourself off the bleachers down into the crowd of people.
EREN POV:
I held a towel to my face, inside was a bag of ice I was using on my jaw. I'd collected my money from the march and put it all in my pocket while trying to see as best I could and search for Connie. He appeared walking off the bleachers as I was approaching and I was confused because
y/n wasn't with him."Where's y/n?"
"She just left to go wait at the car. She could barely watch the fight so she probably needs fresh air or something," Connie shrugged carelessly, and even though my eye was starting to swell I widened my eyes at him.
"You let her leave alone?!" I snapped at him and just as I did, the sounds of a fight breaking out between people loudened.
It was right by the exit, a fight between two people turned into a fight between a huge crowd of people who were now blocking the exit.
"Shit—"
I shoved my bag of ice into Connie's chest and immediately started shoving people to get through it all.
"Y/n?!" I shouted, searching the crowd for her while more punches were thrown.
I dodged a handful of them before I punched people to get through the crowd. I shoved people into other people, shouting her name and searching for her. The crowd was large, it took up the entire room where the fighting was held, and the amount of people fighting only got larger. I kept searching for her, I could barely see so I made sure I was yelling her name loud enough.
It took me five minutes to find her but it felt like forever, she was utterly terrified at the fighting around her.
I grabbed her and pulled her towards me, I kept her directly in front of me with her back almost pressed against my chest. I put my hands on her hip to nudge her where to go roughly, I was worried having her walk behind me would put her in more danger so I kept her body close to mine in front of me.
