A/N: this is a little bit of an AU with Loki with how it goes. Hope you enjoy.
I sat in my daughter's nursery rocking her back to sleep. Her twin brother already sound asleep and could sleep through anything, my daughter, not so much.
"Come on little one. Daddy isn't home to get you to sleep." I mumbled as I rocked her.
The news of my fiancé had been silent for weeks. After he made sure to get us out of New York and to safety I hadn't heard from him.
He wasn't explaining what happened or even what his involvement was but just that I had to get out of New York and he sent me somewhere I would be safe.
I noticed my daughter was asleep so I stood back up and placed her in her crib. As I was closing their bedroom door I heard the front door open and close lightly. I grabbed my baseball bat from the hall closet and quietly walked out to the living room.
I saw someone standing there looking around and I went to hit them with the bat but it was stopped mid-air by an unseen force.
"Is that anyway to great your soon to be husband?" His voice sarcastically said as he flicked on the light.
"Loki?! God damn it." I said as he released the hold on the bat above my head. I shoved him when my hands were freed. He grabbed my hands and pulled me flush against him.
"God, it's so good to see you." Loki said and passionately kissed me. I moaned in the kiss and then we broke apart.
"Where have you been?" I asked and he sighed.
"I can't even explain to you what happened..."
"Loki I saw the attack on New York, I saw the news and they kept saying you were behind it. Thor was supposed to take you back to Asgard. Take you to answer for your crimes." I explained and Loki just sighed.
"Well yes that happened but I told my mother about you and the children she asked my father for enough time for me to come and get you. You can live on Asgard with the kids. So I know you're safe."
"Loki, I'm human, you wanted to marry me with no one knowing, we had children together and now you want me to go to Asgard, meet your parents and just say take it or leave it." I rambled.
"My mother knows, she wants to meet you and her grandchildren." Loki said and I just sighed.
"I can't go to Asgard, I will not take my children to Asgard...I'm sorry."
Loki started pacing in the living room.
"I don't want to have to pull this card Kylie but I will..." Loki trailed off.
"What card?" I asked crossing my arms.
"I'm a god, Loki of Asgard, Odinson. You will obey me." Loki walked up to me and was standing toe to toe with me, looking down at me.
