I was so excited walking to the Renaissance Fair, this is all I wanted to do for 3 years but I never had anyone to go with. Finally, my new neighbor Charles was a huge Tudors fan, like me and we loved this era. We walked in and were quickly taken back in time, and I smiled looking at everything.
"So, miss, since it is your birthday, what do you want to do first?" Charles asked and I linked my arm in his and smiled at him.
"Well first of all thank you for being ridiculous with me and coming in costume." I said and Charles stepped away from me and struck a pose and I smiled.
"I look damn good! I think I was born in the wrong era." He said and we laughed. He then took my hand and made me give him a little spin looking at me in my Victorian area dress. "And you look so hot!" He said and I smiled.
"I really look, okay? I mean I don't want it to be too much..." I said looking down at myself as I noticed I could barely breath.
"You look amazing." He said and I smiled as we headed further into the fair and looked around at everything.
"Why didn't Kyle come?" I asked and he groaned.
"He isn't into this thing. That man maybe my soul mate but he said this is a me and you thing." Charles said as we mentioned his boyfriend and I smiled.
"Well, I love Kyle and I wish he would have come." I said.
"He will see you tomorrow at your birthday dinner." Charles said and I smiled.
We walked by a booth that was selling floral headpieces and Charles smiled at me as he grabbed one and then knelt in front of me.
"For you my lady, to wear on the most special of occasions for your birthday." He said and I gave him a small curtsey.
"Thank you, kind sir, you may place it atop my head." I said and then we laughed as he got up, placed it on my head. Once he paid, we continued to walk the fair. I noticed a few guys looking my way and I would smile.
"You realize they are just looking at your boobs since they are about to pop out of the dress, right?" Charles said and I groaned.
"Yeah well, I couldn't help it. And if you got it flaunt it..." I said and Charles said and then shook his head.
"I'm sure being as promiscuous as you are being was a crime back them..." Charles said, and I shrugged.
"I don't think it was..." I said and we laughed. We stopped to get something to eat and sat down at a table they had set up. I heard girls talking down further at the table.
"I swear it was him, Heather!"
"Why would Henry Cavill be here?" She asked.
"Hello! Tudors just ended, he would have access to take some costumes home from the show and I heard he just moved back to LA."
