Alex pov

I awoke in the middle of the woods I quickly made my way to my feet i saw a sword stabbed into the ground in front of me

I quickly grabbed the hilt and ripped it free it glowed with red energy i saw lights in the distance I quickly began making my way towards the light in the distance

I walked into a almost empty village I saw two gaurds standing in the doorway of a rundown gaurd tower

I made my way towards the two gaurds who were talking in whispers as soon as I got closer I noticed they began to tense up

???: so can I help you sir

Alex: I just woke up in the forest north of here I was wondering if you have a house available for me to rest and hopefully figure out how I got here

???: selene don't trust him I have a feeling that he's going to bring trouble to the village we already have enough trouble now that our lord is dead

Selene: hush Eric this man needs our help so I will not turn away a person in need

Alex: so I can stay

Eric: this is a mistake selene

Selene: let's take to our town healer Serenity she's going to want to have a look at you since you woke up in the forest we don't know if you're hurt or not

Eric: very well do as you wish but know I'm against this he's a outsider he could be a spy for another village

Alex: I'm no spy I don't even know what a spy is

Selene: Eric return to your post I'll escort him personally

Eric: yeah whatever

We made our way towards the house with the red cross on the sign

I suddenly felt myself falling into darkness i fell to the ground and then suddenly everything went dark
