Alex pov
I was awakened by someone knocking on my front door I quickly made my way downstairs and I answered the front door I saw Daphne standing in my doorway
Alex: can I help you my lady
Daphne: I've noticed that your head gaurd refuses to remove her helmet is their a reason why
Alex: she has her reasons for hiding her face which I believe is her way of protecting us
Daphne: I have a request I wish for your gaurds to wear civilians clothes at the wedding your head gaurd must remove her helmet
Alex: I will not make her remove her helmet
Daphne: then I will not perform the wedding ceremony
Alex: fine I'll talk with my head gaurd
I made my way towards the entrance of the gaurd tower I saw Selene staring out the window I tapped her on the shoulder she reacted and knocked me to the ground
Selene: I'm sorry my lord
Alex: don't worry about it
I slowly got to my feet and I quickly gave her a small grimace I wasn't expecting this to end well
Selene: what's wrong
Alex: I must ask you to wear civilian clothes and I need you to remove your helmet for the wedding otherwise Daphne has threatened to not perform the wedding ceremony
Selene: no I refuse if you have a problem with that you can find another head gaurd
Alex: what no you can't mean that
Selene: no I don't I'm sorry my lord I'll see you at the wedding
I watched as Selene walked into the gaurd tower I felt terrible about forcing Selene to reveal herself before she was ready
I sat in my house getting ready for the wedding I began getting dressed in my civilians clothes i put Sarah to bed and she instantly fell asleep and then I made my way towards the docks i walked Serenity down the isle and Daphne began marrying them
Daphne: we are gathered here today to bind these two souls in holy matrimony with all the power of Alek The All Father I pronounce you husband and wife
Mason and Serenity embraced in a passionate kiss we made our way towards the plaza I sat at a table alone I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder I turned around to see Selene wearing a beautiful red sundress
Alex: wow Selene your beautiful
Selene: thank you Alex
Alex: come on let's dance
We dance late into the night We made our way towards the docks and watched as Serenity and Mason left in a boat for their honeymoon their journey was only just beginning
Selene: Alex their is something I want to tell you
Daphne: it's been a long time big sister
I now knew that Selene secret was out and I was not ready for whatever comes next I knew that things were not going to end well
