It has been a couple of weeks and I had finished building my home but as I was about ready to fall asleep I heard a loud knocking at my front door i quickly made my way towards the entrance of my homes front door and I saw a baby girl laying in a basket i quickly picked up the baby girl in my arms I saw a note attached to the baby's blanket it read
Dear lord Alex I cannot care for this hybrid anymore so I give her to you all I ask is that you give Sarah a better future than I can give her please protect her from those who hunt her kind
I quickly made my way towards Serenitys home I knocked on the doorway and Serenity answered the doorway
Serenity: Alex why are you up this late wait why do you have a baby
Alex: she was left on my doorstep I don't know what to do
Serenity: come inside we'll figure this out together little brother
We walked into Serenitys home she began making a bottle for the little one as I stared into Sarah eyes I felt a connection to her I knew I wants to keep her
Alex: I don't know anything about babies
Serenity: all you need to know is to love her
Alex: I guess I can understand that I think I want to adopt her
Serenity: I think thats a great idea
Alex: I'll need baby supplies
Serenity: I'll talk to Mason in the morning you can leave her with me for the night
Alex: thank you but you get some rest if I'm going to be a good father I need to learn to take care of her
Serenity: I'll see you in the morning
I looked into my future daughters eyes I knew that things are about to get very interesting
