HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?

20 Hours Earlier...
12:00 P.M

Our protagonist in this story Tanjiro is 6,1, an above average build, has long crimson hair, dark red eyes, and an odd birthmark on the left side of his forehead that looks like a flame.

His father, and his fathers father, and so on before him also had the same birthmark. His parents told him that it was a sign that they were favored by Hinokami, and to pay the gods back his father did a dance every new years called the Hinokami Kagura. 

He always wondered how his father was able to dance for 6 hours without getting tired and when he asked he was told, "I breathe a certain way, when the time comes I'll teach you"

The time came when Tanjiro's father first started experiencing signs of illness when his father one day after school told him "Let me teach you Tanjiro, about Total Concentration Breathing"

That was 4 years ago, 2 years ago Tanjurou died, leaving Tanjiro as the main provider for his family meaning he had to run his family's shop. But it also meant he got to do the Hinokami Kagura much to his excitement.

On his first year since he had practice Total Concentration Breathing with his father, he managed to make it all 6 hours without stopping, but not without knocking himself out afterwards.

On his second year he was able to complete the dance without any drawbacks due to his many hours spent practicing the dance and his breathing.

Unbeknownst to him however, this would make all the difference in the future, but for now, he was just like any other 18 year old Japanese boy about to graduate high school, eager to join the D.S.C (Demon Slayer Corps).

In this universe the D.S.C now works with the Japanese government to crack down on demon activity making eradication efforts more successful than ever.

But that's not to say that demons haven't gotten with the times either, now most organized crime is led by demons from the drug trade to terrorist attacks.

But enough about Tanjiro and the universe more will be explained later, the story has the begin.

"Hey Tanjiro whose your favorite Hashira. Mines the new insect Hashira she's so bad bro"

"Gengi she's way out of your league man you have no chance, my favorite has gotta be the flame Hashira"

The boy now known as Gengi responds
"So prettyyyyyyy" Completely disregarding Tanjiro's remark

Tanjiro sweat drops at the sight and calls over Gengi's brother Hanzo.

"Oi Hanzo come wake up your brother he's spaced out again"

"Of course he did was it a girl?"

"Yeah the new insect Hashira mean I don't blame him she is smoking hot"

"Amen"

"LISTEN TO THE LESSON OR GET OUT" Their teacher shouts

"Yes-yes sir" the boys respond meekly
