The Kakushi driving the trio just dropped them off at the base of the mountain where the field base was set up a little bit away from the start of the trees.

"So what now?" Zenitsu asks

"He did say that we would be briefed here so I guess we just walk in" Tanjiro replied

The trio enter the small base where there was multiple tents set up for barracks, medical, food, etc.. They decided to head to the central one which they assumed would be where command is. As they entered the tent they were greeted by the sight of a dozen or so different demon slayers accompanied by the same amount of policemen huddled around a map of the mountain.

"Ah you must be the last group of slayers we need am I correct?" Someone who looked to be the police chief said

"Yes that would be us" Tanjiro replied kindly

"Good good, come here we'll give you a quick rundown of the plan"

He made some space for the trio to look at the table.

"Why are you shirtless?" One of the other slayers asked

"Because he's an idiot" Zenitsu replied for Inosuke

"WHAT DID YOU SAY MONITSU??!" Inosuke shouted in repsonse

"Yo chill out we're on a mission" Tanjiro said while smacking both on the back of their heads

"Thank you, anyways, from what we know it's almost one-hundred percent a demon since none of the drones the D.S.C nor we sent could get any farther than a hundred yards from the entrance of the mountain regardless of where we entered from. We think it's a demons blood demon art since it seems like it has knowledge of whatever is going on in the mountain. We won't be able to send backup until we know exactly what's causing the drones to be destroyed" The police chief explains

"Until then, you guys are on your own, however once you do figure it out immediately call it in through your earpiece and retreat as soon as possible. Got it?" The chief continues while pointing at the slayers

"Yes sir" They say in unision

"Now, we'll be able to track where you are so don't go running off now" The chief jokes to alleviate the mood

"But on a serious note I recommend sticking together and avoid splitting apart. With that head to the armory to collect your supplies and get ready. Good luck and godspeed" The chief ends off

The slayers head to the armory where they receive some light plating to insert into their uniform over their torso, forearms, thighs, and shins, any more and mobility would be restricted. (The uniform if you don't remember is just the same uniform as it was in the series, just now its waterproof and fireproof, and still blocks weaker demon attacks but not much more than what it used to be, as well as areas to insert and seal armored plates over the listed areas).

"Inosuke I don't think you should go shirtless on this mission" Tanjiro warns while inserting his plates

"Bwahaha! The mighty Inosuke doesn't need such protection, I'm strong enough to deal with the demons with my own strength

Tanjiro merely sweatdropped at the boys antics before sighing and going back to getting ready.

As the slayers headed out of the armory they received their "kits" which consisted of a flashbang, two wisteria smoke bomb, a regular smoke bomb (No nichirin grenades cause that's just unfeasible), a flare gun, and a small protein bar, all able to fit in the slayers utility belts.
