12:00 P.M - The Final Selection center

"...So how are we going to deal with that" Tanjiro says

The "that" Tanjiro is talking about is the massive crowd of news reporters outside the building behind a police blockade. This happens every time the test happens, a large amount of reporters wait outside the building to interview the test takers and to try and find out who the top 5 were. If Tanjiro exited the building now the reporters would crowd him incessantly and with Shinobu with him, yeah it would be a problem.

"Just come with me" Shinobu sighs as she grabs Tanjiro's hoodie and starts to drag him to the side of the building

"Hey-wait! Where are we going?" Tanjiro asks

"For food or where I'm taking you now?"

"Oh-uh both actually"

"Well where we're going is up to you and as for where I'm taking you right now, how do you think I got in?"

"I... hadn't really thought of that, is it a secret entrance or something?"

"Something like that, now through here" Shinobu says while directing Tanjiro through a door that read "STAFF ONLY"

The door opened up to.... the side of the building.

"Hey this isn't a secret entrance" Tanjiro says disappointedly, hoping for something way cooler

"Well if it got me in without being spotted then it works, now into the car" Shinobu says while pointing at a purple BMW

"It's purple that's odd"

"I can still stab you y'know? Now get in"

"Yes ma'am"

Tanjiro gets into the (still odd to him) purple BMW.

"So, where do you want to eat?"

"Hm... Takoyaki?" Tanjiro says innocently

"Tanjiro would you really take a girl for Takoyaki on a first date? I expected more from you." Shinobu says while feining disappointment

Tanjiro however completely misses the joke.

"Wha-of course not wait date??" Tanjiro says while completely red

"Relax it was a joke" Shinobu says while giggling

"Yeah a joke..." Tanjiro says in his mind while admiring her laugh

"But in all seriousness, Tanjiro I can literally take you anywhere for food, you name it I can do it"

"Well yeah but my mom didn't raise a son who would ever let a woman pay for her things"

Indeed Mrs. Kamado had raised quite the chivalrous son.

"Even when she's richer than you?"

"Damn you didn't have to do me like that" Tanjiro says while pouting

"Alright alright we'll get takoyaki and your paying for it"

Shinobu then drives to the closest takoyaki stand she can find.

The two then quickly bought the food and bring it to Shinobu's car to avoid being spotted by Shinobu's fans (which was pretty much everybody)
