6:00 A.M

"GET UP" Urokudaki shouts while hitting a sleeping Tanjiro with a bokken

"AHHH I'M AWAKE I'M AWAKE" Tanjiro exclaims while flailing around in the bed

"Good now get ready and come for breakfast"

"It's so early though..."

"You got up early yesterday without a problem" Urokudaki says while hitting Tanjiro again

"Ow ow I'm going now"

Tanjiro brushes his teeth and gets dressed, then heads for breakfast. After that the day went as usual until his sword training.

---TIMESKIP---

4:00 P.M

"Today we're testing your theory, pick up the katana" Urokudaki tells Tanjiro

"Oh yeah that reminds me, I saw somebody in my dream who said he was my ancestor. He said his name was Yoriichi Tsugukini"

"Yoriichi you say? Hmmm I've never head of him"

"He told me that the Hinokami Kagura was just a watered down version of a breathing style called Sun Breathing and that it was the progenitor of breathing styles"

"Sun breathing? I can't say I've heard of that either, did he say anything else"

"I should inform Oyakata-sama about this" Urokudaki thought

"He said that I would be his successor and defeat Muzan"

"Now I definitely need to tell him" Urokudaki thought

"Well that's a grand goal and all but for now just stick to training"

"Oh yeah... yes sir"

Tanjiro proceeded to try and do the movements of the Hinokami Kagura but without the unecessary parts and to Tanjiro's and Urokudaki's suprise flames were indeed coming out of his sword each time he performed a form.

"So it's true, Sun Breathing is a real form. Well I was going to teach you water breathing but this works. Now keep performing the dance until I tell you to stop"

"I thought I could get out of the hard training with this..." Tanjiro thinks

"Yes sir" Tanjiro says sadly

After that Tanjiro went to do his weight training to finish his training for the day. For one year that's how Tanjiro would live. Wake up, have breakfast, study (sometimes taking the occasional test), do the maze, lunch, sword training, study, weight training, dinner, and finally sleeping.

After one year Tanjiro grew 2 inches and gained 40 pounds, at 19 he was standing at 6,3 200 pounds. Compared to where he was a year ago he now knew much more about demons that what had been told by the media and school and was much more capable at fighting them.

Tanjiro expected to keep training with Tanjiro when one day Urokudaki told him he had something very important to say.

"I have nothing more to teach you"

"W-What??"

"In one year you have exceeded my expectations far surpassing what I had thought of you"

"Why thank you, but what now then?"
