I dialed Keis number and I kept eye contact with Konans eyes and I knew that I had to end this once and for all with Kanon and If I didn't I know that he will never go away.
"Hana. Good afternoon." Kei answered his voice raspy and filled with warmth and I answered,"Good morning. I need your help honey this strange guy won't leave me alone and I really need you to make him go away."
"Hana? What is it?" The warmth was gone and it was replaced with a cold voice and I could tell that underneath the coldness the concern was still there.
"My ex from before Kanon do you remember him? He has declared that he will take me away from you."
"Let him try." He answered simply and I smirked at Kanon and his eyebrow shot up at my arrogance and I turned away from him and asked,"Can you come now?"
"I'm getting dressed right this moment. I should be there in ten minutes."
"I will be here waiting for you. Bye."
"Bye."
I sat back down into my chair and glared at Kanon for being so invasive and kept my eyes on the clock and true to his word Kei came and he looked like the devil himself.
I was stunned by his scary aura and he pushed me behind him and loomed over Kanon and thundered, "Do you make it a habbit to bother women belonging to other men. You knew that she was attached at the party and yet you are still here asking for a date?"
Kanon swallowed and I realized that Kei was trying to intimidate him to never come near me again.
"She might not actually like you."
"Would she have called me if that were the case?"
"Hana?" Keis voice was soft and I turned to him and he took my hand and asked, "I'll back off if you don't like me so tell me now what your true feelings are."
"How could I possibly dislike you Kei? You have been nothing but a gentleman to me." I spoke the truth.
Kei was a bit of a joker but he was really nice and he was extremely sensitive whenever my feelings were involved.
I actually had a hard time finding a flaw in him. Kanon stood up and went to the door and I took Keis hand and gave it a squeeze and I jumped when Kanon said,"I won't give up. I still like you Hana."
He left and Kei and I stared at each other for a while before we gave each other a high five and burst into laughter.
"Did you see the look on his face?"
"He looked terrified!" He laughed and I noted that it was a very deep rumbling kind of laughter and I felt warm inside just from hearing it.
How warm.
