A familiar face

Haruhiko stood there with a frown on his face and hauled me up and I could only stand there stunned that he had actually come to visit me.

"Brother? What are you doing here?" I exclaimed surprised that he would actually go out of his way to see his me.

"I need to have a word with you. Some place quiet perhaps?" I saw his eye twitch and I turned around and a group of boys were staring at us and began to whisper amongst them.

I nodded somewhat reluctantly and dragged him into the nurses office and sat down and I narrowed my eyes at him to prove that I wasn't worried by his sudden appearance.

Why did he bother coming here if it wasn't important?

He coughed and asked,"The head of the family is unable to keep the hospital in tip top shape. I think that he is going to have to either return it to you or let the family fortune run dry. I really thought it would be important for you to know so I chose to come by and tell you myself."

I nodded and was glad that he had told me. The offer of become the owner of my hospital again made me ache inside.

He frowned and put a warm hand on my head and said,"No matter what Hana just try not to provoke him. He is more unstable now that all the other members of the family are becoming uneasy and wanting a new head."

I stiffened. I didn't want to be involved in another family fued for the throne to rule the family.

I backed away and something red caught my eye outside and I stared intently at the moving shadows and finally said,"Thank you for telling me this Brother. I think it would be wise to go back to your routine so I can return to mine."

My voice had lost its warmth and I could see that my words struck like a blow. He and I never got along and since he refused to help me when I needed him most he can just die in a hole.

I stayed by the window and not long after rejoyced in the sound of foot falls behind me and a new set of steps took me by surprised and I spun around.

A huge figure loomed in the doorway and I gasped surprised that Kanon had come back and angry that he bothered.

He sat down heavily on a plush blue chair and said,"I really don't know what happend to you hana but, you really have changed. I don't mean just your looks its just that the change has made you more beautiful. When we dated before you were so timid and yet cheerful and that drew alot of people to you. The new you knows what she wants and isn't afraid to say it like it is. I like the change and the fact that you aren't a lazy little girl is also a bonus."

I felt disgusted and My fingers tightened around my phone and Kanon asked,"Where is your boyfriend? Is he around here? " He laughed and then I whipped out my phone and said,"I'll call him to come here. I'll tell him what you told me so he can show you the door."

I pretended not to care about calling somebody and the truth was i was terrified.
