"Kennedy, we are greatly sorry for what happened last night. We acted like little boys and said stupid things about you. We didn't mean to tell many people we were just making a couple of jokes and they spread. Calling you our baseball Annie was very sexist, and we apologize." Logan looked at me sincerely before Chris now started talking. "We promise we will tell off anyone who continues to say things like that about you. We again are truly sorry. We will spend the next couple of weeks learning about women's empowerment and rights. The school is also going to have a women empowerment protest type thing and we will attend wearing heels."

I couldn't help but start to laugh. I appreciate the apology, but I am working on not caring what people think about me. "I appreciate it boys but you don't need to wear heels to a women's protest, it's fine. A few jokes and stupid rumors don't need to bother me." I laughed at them but then they both looked between themselves. "Um not saying we don't want to, 'cause we obviously do, but Weston said he was going to tell your Uncle if we didn't go." Then I really started laughing, I should've known Weston was behind this. My Uncle did mention that he might've threatened their careers if they messed with me.

Once that was over the boys hurried away and I finally was able to get dressed for my tour. I am meeting with Professor Warner today to tour the campus and also get a bit caught up in the writing program.

I picked out flowy black shorts with a baby blue shirt that has some buttons on below the neck. I paired it with some white sneakers and I curled my hair. This morning I organized all of my manuscripts and works into a separate folder on my computer so I am all ready. I am nervous though, about what is this semester going to look like. Am I really going to be published by the end of it?

I called my mother and father and chatted for a bit before I headed on my way to the university. I can tell my mother misses me, my father also told me how my brother is supposedly coming back home this semester, I will have to give him a call as well.

Once I packed my things into my bag I headed downstairs. I looked around but couldn't find anybody so I hopped in the Jeep and started making my way. I just realized I never even got Weston's number. Should I have his number? He said we don't need to be so serious and just have fun, maybe I don't need his number.

So many thoughts were going through my head as I drove to the university, but a parking spot with my name on it pulled me out of my distractions. I grabbed my things and walked inside the student union building. I saw a receptionists desk and headed over to a nice-looking lady. "Hi my name is Kennedy Connoway, I am looking for Professor Warner for my tour." She smiled at me before grabbing her desk phone and ringing.

After exchanging a few words about me being here she told me Professor Warner would be right down.

"Miss. Connoway?" I whipped my head in the direction of an older-looking lady. She looked really nice but also professional. She walked up to me and we shook hands. "Hi, you must be Professor Warner, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, I can't wait to see the campus and learn more about the writing program," I told her. Was that too much? If Weston was here he would call me out for being nervous.

"Oh hunny, I would be lying if I said I wasn't honored to meet such a young smart student like yourself, I have many people that are dying to meet you." I was stunned. "Wh-who is wanting to meet me?" We walked out of the student union and she looked over at me before answering.

"Oh you will see hun, we have a whole editorial team who fell in love with your pieces and want to help you write before we find you an agent." I must be dreaming, I mean I wrote these pieces in high school how can they be that good? "Mrs. Warner, you mean like a writing agent? Already?" I couldn't believe this was real life. "I mean what I wrote in my emails, Kennedy. Your work, for your age is, well, a peice of work. I was stunned reading your manuscripts and when I approached our editing team, their faces lit up. We have many publishers here as well, and they all want you and have made offers already dear. I plan to have you talk with the editing team and fix some things, we will then find you an agent who can help you figure out which option is best."
