"Shut your eyes kiddo, and hum a song, we'll be right back in a minute." Dau whispered in her ear, making her smile.
It felt like she was back in her childhood, where with these two men wouldn't let any danger ever touch her.
The feeling was exhilarating.
He drew his sword, clashing it against the four warriors who ran towards his younger siblings.
There was no way in hell, anybody could harm his siblings as long as he was alive. He thought furiously, swishing his sword through the air, flaying men, scarlet liquid seeped in the ground as hearts rolled.
Death incarnated in the new form, it's cold touch seeping out lives from each and every soldier that dared to touch the Yadav duo.
Krishn traced his fingers across her cheeks, Ruhi looked up at him, her breathing hitching as she completely forgot about her surroundings.
His intense gaze locked with hers, the world was meaningless, when he was around.
His enthralling aura and the immense love that she felt with him, was everything she ever needed.
If today, death decided to touch her, she would die as a happy person.
Every second with him was enough to live the rest of her life alone with that one memory.
He did that to her.
With one look he made her feel loved and cherished, so much that it was enough for the rest of the eternity.
And maybe this is why she was greedy and she still craved more for his love.
That complete acceptance and the feeling of belonging that she only ever felt with him.
They gazed at each other, as Dau grunted, kicking and gutting the soldiers.
Shattering that moment, it seemed to last for seconds but felt like an eternity.
His soulful orbs twinkled with a longing that she felt deep in her soul.
He smiled, that pearly white grin that robbed millions of hearts.
And she wasn't immune to his charm.
Who was?
"Don't miss me too much I will be right back in an instant." He kissed her nose, his tender words, a mixture of unfathomable love and a pinch of teasing, her cheeks heated, flushing ten different shades of red.
He beamed, as he walked backwards, gaze locked with hers.
Worry churned in her stomach as a soldier attacked him from his left.
His hand shot around wrapping itself around his neck, his gaze locked with her.
"I don't like you frowning. Keep that smile in place, while i take care of this minor inconvenience."
He snapped the neck of the man letting him drop like a sack of potatoes.
"If you love birds are done, I would appreciate a hand here."
"Ah the third wheel."
Krishn teased, rolling his eyes, as he drew his sword, the sharp clang of the blades clashing rang throughout the place.
Grunts tore through the air, a coppery smell filled the air, as screams rang throughout the place.
The soldiers bolted as they realised that half their men were dead, heads rolled from shoulders and intestines decorated the market grounds.
