Heidi Turner held the soul gem in front of her, the orange gleam only glowing brighter as she continued to walk. She's a magical girl, this was her job, to hunt the monsters known as witches to keep the town of South Park, Colorado, safe. She's more experienced than the other magical girls in her town, she's been a magical girl for three years now... this life is rough, but it was worth it in exchange for a wish...
"The witches labyrinth is near..." Heidi thought to herself as she brushed some of the hair out of her face.
The glow of the soul gem seemed to glow brighter and suddenly the sound of another pair of footsteps caught Heidi's attention, her gaze shot to the sound and was shocked to see her classmate and ex boyfriend Kyle Broflovski. Instantly an uneasy feeling twisted in her gut and she hurried over. Instantly Kyle turned, a strange smile on his face, his eyes seemed glazed over.
"Heidi! Oh I'm so glad to see you!" He chuckled, Heidi noticed instantly, the strange blue hue of his eyes... Kyle's eyes were green...
"Kyle..? What are you doing out here... this is far from your house..." Heidi asked as she glanced around the empty dog show arena they stood in.
"Well Heidi... I'm simply going somewhere better! You should join me! It'll be fun!" Kyle's tone was sweet, but he never talked like this, he seemed out of it. Finally Heidi noticed a symbol on his neck. A chill ran up her spine as she realized what was happening.
"Oh god... I have to stop this..!" Heidi gasped, the symbol on Kyle's neck was a witches kiss, a branding from a witch that makes a witch able to control anybody they wish. Heidi hurriedly went to use her soul gem when Kyle grabbed her arm.
"You shouldn't stop this... they're so close to achieving paradise!" Kyle exclaimed, beginning to frown.
Heidi gulped, she didn't want to hurt anybody, especially someone under the influence of a witch, but she roughly shoved Kyle away from her. Causing him to stumble back before falling.
She took this as her free chance and quickly transformed into her magical girl form. Her ruffled skirt spread around her, her shoes morphing into heels. She made some spiders silk from her gloves and quickly bound Kyle to prevent him from trying to stop her.
There was a strange beeping noise as the world around them began to shift... the witch recognized she was there. Heidi gripped her axe tightly as the world changed, large wires spread on the ground. The air static with electricity. She glances one more time at Kyle who was struggling in the string. She began to quickly move forward, almost instantly large pop up ads would pop up, promoting items in a language Heidi couldn't recognize, she realized that these were one of the witches familiars. They shattered like glass with every swing of her axe. She had to be careful to not get injured since her healing abilities were slower compared to that of the other magical girls. Thankfully these familiars weren't strong, mainly annoying to deal with due to how many there were.
As Heidi continued further she reached a gate, it was a large metal gate covered by moving wires, she roughly swung her axe into it, repeatedly swinging until finally she got through. She jumped back as the gate swung open, finally Heidi saw it, The Advertisement Witch Leslie. It was a large mass of wires, screens and cameras. The channels on the tv would switch and play footage of random things. The wires moved like tentacles. One of the wires with a camera suddenly pointed at Heidi, and before Heidi could even react all the screens swapped, showing all of Heidi's mistakes... she watched as the screens showed her reason for making a wish to become a magical girl, she watched the screens show all of her time with Eric Cartman, her ex boyfriend. He manipulated her and ruined everything she had worked so hard for. She made a wish that people would not remember she ever dated Eric.
"Enough! Stop showing me these!" She cried out in anger, more spider string formed around the axe, making the axe appear larger in size. She swung it into one of the screens causing it to shatter. One of the wires wrapped around her leg pulling her into the air and roughly slamming her onto the ground causing her to gasp in shock from the impact. She slammed the axe into the wire forcing it to let her go. She shakily stood up. She swung again shattering another screen when she heard the familiar ring of a bullet, she dodged and it shattered another screen, she turned around to see a fellow magical girl and friend Wendy testaburger, her goggles and mask were over her face.
"Why didn't you tell me you were hunting! This is a witch that me and Bebe have been tracking for weeks! Leslie is dangerous and hard to kill!" Wendy shouted as she reloaded her rifle quickly.
"I didn't know you guys were tracking it! Plus I thought you were busy tonight so I didn't bother you!" Heidi shouted back, she slammed her axe down into another screen.
"Well Kyubey came to me saying that you were fighting it!" Wendy paused as she watched Heidi destroy another screen, as if trying to cover up the memories it was showing. "Heidi stop! I think the screens are just the familiar! The witch is underneath!" Heidi froze realizing Wendy was right, that's why the screens seemed endless. Wendy fired a shot at at the wire mass and the witch let out a screech and swung some wires in their direction.
"Heidi can you buy me some time? I can freeze the witch but I'll need some time!" Wendy blurted, Heidi shakily nodded and used some spider silk to form a protective wall in front of Wendy. Wendy instantly got to work loading her gun. Heidi continued to swing and repeatedly dodge the wires. Finally Wendy was ready and she propped her gun against the spider silk barrier, she positioned herself and gripped the rifle tightly, she used her scope, her eyes scanning the witches wire filled form. A loud bang heard as the gun fired. It pierced deep into the witch and very quickly a thick layer of frost began covering the witch, causing it to stop moving, the screens crackling as they struggled to continue working. Heidi took it as her chance and was able to slice into it with her axe easier. With the slams of Heidi's axe, and a couple final shots from Wendy's rifle the witch's form seemed to melt into the ground. The labryinth had finally faded away and Wendy retrieved the soul gem. She used it on her darkened soul gem and tossed it to Heidi.
"Sorry Heidi, I have to go! I have a school project to get done and I can't skip it!" Wendy quickly blurted, she transformed back into her school uniform and slipped her soul gem ring back onto her finger, she waved to Heidi as she left. As Heidi used the grief seed, clearing the darkness from her soul gem she heard a groaning noise and turned around realizing Kyle was still restrained. She hurried over and quickly swung the axe only enough to cut the string.
"Kyle? How are you feeling? Are you hurt?" Heidi asked, helping him up. Kyle rubbed his head.
"Heidi..? Where am I? What's going on?" Kyle asked, looking around at the dog show arena they were in.
"There's a lot you need to know..." Heidi began
