"You sure you wanna go in baccha?" Eshanth asked with concern, glancing at his sister's stoic face. He sighed in defeat when his sister silently nodded her head. No matter how much he tried to persuade, the girl is too stubborn to understand things.
"Chal phir mai bhi chalunga tere saath" Eshanth was about to unbuckle himself but Aadhira kept her hand on his hand, halting his course of action. He gazed at her eyes, void of emotions,"I have to do this alone Bhaiya. Aap office jaiye"
"Ira!" Eshanth insisted, finding it difficult to handle his sister,"You have an important meeting Bhaiya". Aadhira tried to reason yet seeing Eshanth's stern glare she averted her gaze, not intending to face her Bhaiya's wrath.
Eshanth inwardly laughed seeing her reaction, no matter how much the girl grew up yet still she resisted to look at his strict gaze. Just a strict gaze from him and the lioness in his sister is tamed. He sobered up soon continuing while taking his wallet from the cabinet beside him,"I don't want those Rathores to hurt my sister again".
His hand almost reached the lock when he heard his miscreant whining again with a pout,"Aap meeting me jao na bhaiya" He again turned his stern gaze but this time Aadhira hurriedly spoke while pinching the skin on her neck between her index finger and thumb,
"Aapki Kasam bhaiya koi nautanki nhi krungi aur kisine kuch bola toh uska muh tod dungi. Nhi toh aapko toh pkka bula lungi. Chup chap bas apna bag lungi aur wapas aa jaungi. Ab toh Maan jao school ke liye late ho rhi hoon mai"
She said as Eshanth could see the sincerity shining in her usual careless eyes. The pout was only adding to the weakening of his resolve. He didn't wanted to let her go alone but the little devil infront of him had her best weapon up, her puppy eyes.
"Bhaiya Jaane do na. I don't want you to miss such an important meeting of yours" Aadhira again added. Though the overprotective elder brother in Eshanth wanted to resist yet he couldn't help but nodded sighing. Aadhira immediately hugged him, wrapping her arms around his torso.
"Thank you Bhaiya" She said as she poked his nose. Eshanth rolled his sighing, not even wasting a second to wrap his arms around the little lioness, pulling her closer. "Koi bhi dikkat ho toh turant bulana mujhe, smjhi? And dare if anyone hurted you and you hide from me. Pitegi tu mujhse phir."
He said the last part sternly with strict gaze making Aadhira nod her head at him. She knew better than to disobey her elder brother when he is in such an overprotective brother mode. He will surely not hesitate to knock some sense into her. She bids him goodbye while exiting the car while Eshanth kept his eyes on her until she finally reached into the mansion.
He knew that he was acting too overprotective of his sister yet he couldn't help. He just couldn't bear her tears anymore just because of her so called family. She didn't deserved any pain that she had recieved in her life and if he could do something he would legit taken her pain upon himself.
Pain...His eyes shined with tears as he remembered the first time he held her. The moment when the overprotective elder brother in him had taken up all the responsibility of the fragile newborn baby girl as his father kept her in his arms. His heart still bursts with the same joy as he remembers the day 17 years ago when his little sister came into the world. Though he was an elder brother to Kairav, yet his Ira was still special to him.
The little girl that had all of his heart. She made him realise what actually being an elder brother felt like. Be it her tantrums or her cuteness, everything was close to his heart.
