"Is he being treated well?" Darsh asked his eldest brother-in-law as they sat in the nearby restaurant waiting for their orders. Aditya smirked as he glanced towards his new partner in crime, his cousin, Eshanth, who mirrored his smirk with a slight shake of head. He gently picked up the menu kept on the table, going through it once more, letting his eldest cousin take the lead.

"Just as he needs to be." Aditya replied curtly with his voice edging a sly remark, hidden behind the shadows of his smirk. The darkness of his intention weren't hidden from his future brother-in-law. Darsh nodded emotionlessly, subconsciously relieved by the news.

After that phone call, his mind had been cluttered with the thoughts of the ways to protect his love. His thoughts drifted back to his Sherni, the owner of his heart. A deep, aching fear of losing her clenched at his chest, and all he wanted was to gather her close, never letting her slip from his arms. She was his most precious treasure, and the mere thought of separation felt unbearable. She was his, he was hers without any question.

He would protect her even it meant giving up upon his own life because for him the four letter word 'life' started at her and ended with her. He lived for her, without her, there would be nothing worth living for. With her the world felt right to him and everything else faded away. She is all that matters, the center of his universe.

Darsh Kapadia was known for his relentless possessiveness over everything he owned. That included his wealth, his power, his fame, and his success. But his Sherni was above it all, the one thing in his life that wasn't just his to protect, but to cherish with his whole being. She wasn't just a part of his world; she was his goddess, the one he worshipped with an intensity that consumed him. His love for her was limitless, endless and he never hesitated to speak it aloud, if needed to claim her as his.

Her state today, had scared him enough to give him nightmares for the next few weeks. The thought of losing her still gave his body chills, letting his blood run cold. The fear had engulfed his whipped heart to the depths of not leaving her side for even a fraction of second. Even if it annoyed her to lengths. He would endure her scoldings if it meant keeping her securely in his arms. If it meant to once again became her shield from the cruelties of this world.

Anger bubbled through his flaring nerves when he remembered the menacing phone call that he had recieved from one of his guards stationed near the dungeons. Telling him, that the atrocious man responsible for his Sherni's condition tried to escape his awaiting fate.

Darsh's rage rose as he heard it. The man had already summoned himself death by trying to hurt his girl. He would've killed him in a snap for even a mere scratch on his goddess. Yet his Sherni's condition stopped him for the time being.

But now, In no circumstances would Darsh Kapadia ever let the man flee alive after even contemplating his Sherni's ill-being for a second. No one in this whole world, had the power to hurt his Ira and evade the clutches of the ruthless Darsh Kapadia himself. Not even her own parents.

"But still Darsh, we need to be careful" Eshanth voiced out his bothering concern, bringing Darsh back from his Sherni's world Darsh looked up at Eshanth as the latter continued with unwavering worry engraved. "Itni security ke baad bhi he tried to run away. It's a huge point of concern." Eshanth's concern nudged the other two men sitting on the table to dwell into the gravity of the alarming situation.

"I know Bhaiya, mai bhi yahi soch rha tha." Darsh uttered truthfully, his eyes fixed on the wooden table that seemed to be a canvas for his portraying concerns of the minute. "I'll tighten the security more." He proposed the solution, looking back at Eshanth in order to reassure him. A grave silence fell for a minute until,
