Chapter 4

"Tegon are you okay?!" Aiden asked. i didn't even see him standing behind him. I had actually forgot about him.. oops..

"Uhh... Yah... I'm fine.. Just a bad dream thats all..." i muttered more to myself then the 2 boys standing in my door way.

"Okay thats good to know. I was just coming to pick you up for school." Logan said looking worried as when he first walked into my room.

"I'm actually not going to school today.. i kinda had a long yesterday.." I said looking him straight in the eyes as he walked over to my bed.

"Well looks like you are in good hands Tegon. I'll be downstairs." Aiden said awkwardly.

"Kay." I said still in shock of who was here when i opened my eyes.

I had many questions on my mind and i needed to start asking them. I took a deep break and asked

"Logan, do you know where Carter is? Do you know why he ran away? and Why are you so worried about me?" It came out all in one breath.

"I haven't heard from Carter, i don't know why he ran.. but i do have a pretty good idea.. and I'm worried about you because you remind me of my little sister.. she past away last year........" he said. The last part pained him to say, you could tell by how his face contorted as he said it.

"Awe Logan come here! I'm so sorry. I didn't know that you had a little sister. I didn't mean to bring up this bad memory." I said pulling him into a hug. 

He was silently crying into my shirt and but i didn't mind, he needed someone to comfort him.

After he settled he spoke again. "It's Okay you didn't know." he said still looking very sad.

"This is going to sound insensitive but..... Why do you think Carter ran away?" I asked with major guilt in my voice. I just needed to know he was safe. I could comfort Logan later.

"Well when we were at school you had this look in your eyes when we talked and hung out, kinda like you liked me.... And i Think that that made Carter very jealous and him crack..." he said looking not quite sure of himself.

"Really he was jealous? Are you sure?" I asked not sure he knew what he was talking about.

"Well yah! Who would be if the love of their life was looking at another guy the way you were." Logan said laughing at my stupidity.

"Oh really now." I said i little more harshly then i meant. 

"Yes really." Logan replied with Venom in his voice. this made me flinch. it really scared me..

He must have noticed me flinch because he said:

"Tegon, I'm sorry i didn't mean to sound so mad... I just hate when people don't believe me."

"Well i will believe you from now on because i really don't like the mad side of you." I said meaning every word of 

what just came out of my mouth.

"Good. But you know I'm right don't you. Carter does love you. I could see it how he was looking at you." 

"Well.. I'm Still not sure about the whole thing.. but If you don't leave soon your going to miss the bus!!" I said just looking at my clock to see the time.

"Damn! Your right!" he said kissing the top of my head. "Just call me if you need anything. And i mean that" 

"Okay. sounds good. Byye!" I said waving the Logan, watching him leave my room and walk outside to the bus stop.

I just cant believe what he said.If Carter loved me why had he never told me? I am so conflicted. 

Well at least I know why he ran away.. possibly. This is really getting on my nerves. I need to talk to him right now.

Okay. Its time to get my mind of this right now. 

So i got into the shower and had an hour long shower. when i got out i got into this www.polyvore.com/cgi/profile, grabbed my cell and ipod and headed downstairs. 

"Well Miss. Get-up-whenever-I-feel-like-it, there's some sandwiches on the counter for lunch." Aiden said with a smirk on his face.

"Thank you Mr. Rude-much?!" I replied smugly.

I sat down at the table and starting snacking on the sandwiches. I decided i was going to do something today, and that did not include staying home by myself. I pulled out my phone and texted Kayla.

Me:Hey Hun! Hows school? -Tegs

Kayla:Heyy! Damn i miss gurl! and boring :( -Kay

Me: Awwe i miss you too! Wanna ditch and come hang at the mall with me? :) -Tegs

Kayla:OKAY! Ill be at your house in 15 minutes! -Kay

Me:Kay! See you then :) -Tegs

I put my phone into my pocket again. I looked over at Aiden he was sleeping peacefully on the couch. I crept over to him as quietly as possible and leaned down by his ear.

"AIDEN!" i screamed.

"AHHHHHH!" he yelled as his eyes flew open and he rolled off the couch.

"I'm going to the mall with Kayla" i said sweetly like nothing just happened.

''Okay sounds good. Be home by 6, ill order pizza for supper." He said still shaking from being screamed awake.

"Alrighty! sounnnnds good!" I yelled walking out the door.

"Heyyy Girl!" screamed a very happy Kayla.

"Hey! I'm glad your here! Its shopping time!!!!!" I yelled pumping my fist in the air.

"Well someones had a change in mood since yesterday." Kayla noted as we linked arms and started walking towards the mall.

"I have decided Carter will come back when he comes back, and when he does i want to look good, so SHOPPING!!" i said happily a big grin plastered on my face for good. :)

"Well okay then! Shopping it is!" She said happily. 

Then we headed off towards the mall. 

"Hey Girls...." said an all too familiar voice.
