hi everyone!! i've noticed how far we've already gotten in the story and this is NOT a chapter, so if u would like to skip over this and continue reading the following chapter, feel free to do so!
i plan to make more of these 'interludes' in the future, just cus i think they're cute and also just a way for u guys to see my writing process so far with a lot of the scenes, chapters, characters, etc. cus yall deserve it 🩷
i might add some more to this in the future, but for now this is all i've been able to think of.

⟡ originally, jude was supposed to have the appearance of chifuyu from tokyo revengers, but i changed my mind because i thought that sting from fairy tail fit his whole character better!

⟡ vienna wasn't gonna be introduced as jude's gf at first

⟡ sully was supposed to be y/n's first love interest rather than jude, but tbh i find jude easier to work with than sully, which is why i've been pushing back sully's moment to shine 🙏🏻

⟡ jude's quirk wasn't supposed to be what it is now, instead it was going to be some sort of outer worldly type thing but i later changed it cus it lowkey made no sense 😅

⟡ each chapter was originally going to be wayyyy shorter than they r now, like the length of the first few chapters (around 1900/2000 words) but since i like bulky and heavy writing, i've decided to keep them long

⟡ i was gonna lengthen the whole villain invasion at u.a. for the christmas chapter into a few parts, but i decided not to because it would feel more of a 'filler' chapter rather than something important/useful to the story

⟡ i wasn't gonna include most of the actual arcs from mha, but i decided to try and fit most of them in to make sense of my story

⟡ finding a quirk for y/n was SO DIFFICULT. ik it seems easy, but i feel like the quirk is so detrimental to the storyline so i def struggled with finding one. even now i find y/n's quirk difficult to work with, since it's mental based

⟡ i struggled a lot at first with trying to bond each character together, and i wanted the story to feel like the reader gets to know each character which is why i sort of incorporate a lot of smaller scenes with different characters

⟡ the reason why izuku isn't in the story is bc i feel like he wouldn't flow with my story line + sully/jude are loosely based off of him in a way, and it just wouldn't make sense

⟡ jude & bakugo having a past tg was never gonna be fit into the story, but last min i decided otherwise since i really wanted to incorporate bakugo into the story and make him important to the storyline

⟡ originally, this wasn't gonna be an x reader story 👀 but i thought it made things more interesting/open for readers if it was an x reader story!

⟡ i wanted this story to sort of be more of a romcom & focus more on like a slice of life type thing, mixed with some angst rather than constant action & whatnot, so i try to balance out the two

⟡ y/n and jude were supposed to get together way earlier into the story, but i'm a die hard slow burn fan so i tried to work my way around my first couple of chapters so that they could have more time tg before anything happens, but i also feel like im ass at writing romance/kissing scenes for as much as i love them so.. 🙂‍↕️ IM TRYING THO 🙏🏻

⟡ with mention of the previous point, eventually, ill be rewriting the first probably ten chapters of the story to weave out the sort of 'love interest' n make it feel more natural since it just doesn't fit well with the story lol

⟡ if this story wasn't gonna be an x reader one, vienna would've been the mc!

⟡ ryuku the dragoon hero was supposed to be jude's sister, but i felt like him having a sister doesn't rly fit his character

⟡ tbh idk why i have jude's full name as 'judas' i lowk just think it's cute despite me barley using it

⟡ y/n was never supposed to meet tokoyami at the convenience store or be close with him, but tokoyami deserves more recognition than he gets in the show, so i just HAD to tie him into the story <3

⟡ i've had sully as an oc for like three years now that i think abt it, so he's gotta lotta lore to him (hence his last name SHIRAKUMO 👀) which is why i gave him his own book that's currently on a pause cus this book his my main focus/priority

⟡ music inspires me HEAVILY while writing this book. maybe i should make a playlist for u guys to listen to while reading lmk 🙏🏻

⟡ my writing drive always is at night, never during the day which is why i update or publish a chapter so late into the night lol

⟡ i kinda went into writing this wanting to have my ideas planned out, but i realized that most of my good ideas have came from me just writing and everything flowing together so i've made a lot of chapters n ideas off of whims and i wouldn't want it any other way

⟡ jude's motion sickness is based off of sting's motion sickness in fairy tail

⟡ y/n's mom was not supposed to be dead, n her dad was NOT supposed to be an asshole but u gotta add what u gotta add. plus it's not a good wp story without the sob story background tbh
