The journey from Italy felt longer than it actually was. Throughout the ride, Charles couldn't stop rehearsing what he would say when he finally saw Katrina again. Seb's message earlier had helped calm his nerves, even if just for a short while. Of all the drivers—past and present—Seb was one of the few Charles was closest to. When they were teammates at Ferrari, fans had started teasing them as a "father and son" duo.
