I instantly smiled when I read Charles refer to my house as his "home".
Today is finally the day that I would show him a glimpse of my world.

"You're here early," Trina teased, opening the door to find Charles standing just outside, a wide smile on his face. He had arrived in less than ten minutes since she sent him the message.

"Of course, my love," he replied, his voice filled with excitement. "You're finally ready to let me in, so I rushed here." Trina couldn't help but laugh at his eagerness as she stepped aside to let him in.

"Now, you have to understand, I haven't really been doing this since I moved to Monaco, so I'm a little bit rusty. Don't be too harsh on me," she warned, her smile playful.

"I would never be harsh on you, Trina," Charles said, his voice soft and comforting, which made her heart skip a beat.

She led him to a part of the house that was always kept locked, a room nobody had seen before—no one but her. Not even Sofia, nor Charles, had ever set foot in this space.

"Charles, welcome to my world," she said as she opened the door, inviting him in.

His eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, this place is amazing, Trina. Thank you for showing this to me."

She smiled softly, her emotions shifting as she began to speak. "When I left, I thought I was done with all of this. I told myself I would never write or sing again. But then I met Sofia, and then I met you. I tried to keep away from music, but every moment with you and this little family we built with the other drivers, it started filling the hole in my heart. Every bit of heartache I had before coming to Monaco slowly started to heal. Thank you, Charles. You have no idea how much you mean to me."

He stepped closer, taking her hand gently. "Mon amour..." he whispered, his voice full of affection.

Trina led him further into the room, showing him her past—her Wikipedia page, her profile in Korea, and the works she had done before their paths had crossed. She even showed him her public Instagram account, with followers just as numerous as his own. Slowly, she unveiled to him the Luna Kim that she had left behind in Korea.

Charles's eyes softened as he read the vile articles that had been written about her, his brows furrowing in anger at the cruel comments. He could feel the tension rising between them as he saw the harsh words that had been directed at Trina.
