I've searched everywhere in this stupid castle and I can't find the bloody medic. Where in the hell could she be besides the hospital? She's a healer, they don't have life outside of healing, not when the life of my bride is at stake.
Fuck.
I sat tiredly on the edge of aceleve's hospital bed and stared longingly at her thin face. Being in the hospital for about three weeks has thinned her body to a sickly weight and has turned her tan, toned body pale and limp.
"Aceleve, I'm so sorry" I whispered. I took her small, lifeless hand in my strong cold ones. Her hands were nearly as cold as mine and the hard calluses have healed, her scabbed knuckles have turned to scars and to me, she isnt beautiful being flawless. She's beautiful covered in sweat and determination in her eyes, she's beautiful covered in scars and bruises, she's beautiful when she's tired and sore but manages to stand up for every fight. She's the most beautiful creature in the world, and she thought she didn't deserve me. Oh Aceleve, how wrong you are. You have every warrior in asguard wrapped around your little finger, eager to do anything you ask. Yet you stay with me, a monster who asked you to do terrible things. To backstab your friends. To ruin a wonderful opportunity for you to be apart of a annoyingly strong organization. But you stayed and promised to help me fulfill my dreams. While all I've done is crushed yours.
"Aceleve, you are my world. And I-" I paused. and I said it with no doubt in my mind.
"I love you" I smiled and kissed her hand. I leaned forward and kissed her forehead
"I hope you heard that Aceleve, because it's very rare I'll say it in a public place again" I whispered in her ear. I held her hand in mine and I thought I felt the slightest finger twitch
"Aceleve?" I asked. Leaning back. Of course I never got a response. But I know she heard me. she had just enough will power to give me that small sign that she heard me.
"My strong warrior" I whispered. I immediately stood when I heard a boot scuff in the hall. I turned around and faced a pale, kind faced woman with short red hair and big green eyes.
"Oh! My prince I'm sorry I didn't know you would be here" she said in a rush. She quickly bowed her head and curtsied.
"It's fine" I said waving her off
"What can I do for you?" She asked, rising and clutching a clip board to her prominent chest.
"I need you to go into Aceleve's head and find out what happened to her and her brother inside of the bifrost" I requested
"Oh um. I'll see what I can do" she said, she seemed shocked at my request. I nodded
"Thank you. Report back to me when you're finished" I told her. She nodded and I left the room. Okay. Now what. I sighed and leaned against the wall outside of aceleve's operating room and crossed my arms across my chest. I can't carry on without her. And my child growing inside of her toned stomach. I need to be with her. But I cant, not when she's in this coma state.
"Loki" my eyes shot open when I heard my name. I glared at my brother from the corner of my eye. I never responded as Thor stopped in front of me and I lifted my head
"Did you found the healer Eir?" He asked. I nodded
"Yes she's working now, she will report back to me when she is finished" I told him robotically. I'm not in the mood to have a conversation with this bloke and I have better things to be doing
"Did you find anything in the bifrost?" I asked him
"Not yet. But we have Heimdall in charge of the investigation. I'm going to midguard to speak with Jane and Dr.Selvig to see if they would be of any help. Would you like to come?" Thor asked.
"No. I'm sure Jane would not be happy to see me"
Thor nodded
"Very well"
"So wait the bifrost is up and running again?" I asked, sitting up from the wall
"Only for investigating the accident. If you need to go somewhere that will be helpful to finding out why the bifrost behaved strangely Heimdall will allow it. But trade has stopped between realms and father and mother aren't aloud to travel in case the bifrost acts up again" Thor told me. I nodded and pursed my lips in thought, I need to find out why Roy was the only one that was killed. I'm not complaining but I want to know why Aceleve lived.
"Prince Loki, follow me" the medic Eir called. My heart jumped in my chest
"Is she awake?" I asked, uncrossing my arms from my chest and staring down at her.
"No. But her mind is" Eir said. Without another word Eir turned around and quickly walked back into Aceleve's operating room.
"Aceleve" I whispered. She was in the same state I left her in thirty minutes ago but the monitors were alive and loud.
"What's going on?" I asked. The heart monitor was beating rapidly and her brain waves were that of ocean during a hurricane.
"She's having panic attack while she's unconscious. Her mind is scared because she can't move her body and she feels alone. You need to speak to her" Eir commanded me.
"How can I? The power of Cheen was broken?" I asked.
"Don't use some special power to speak to the love of your life. Use your heart. And your mind" Eir suggested, the tone of her voice grew soft as she looked at me with big, soft green eyes. I chewed on the inside of my cheek as I looked at my beautiful Aceleve trapped inside her own body. How am I to communicate with her?
"We are connected forever Loki. Do you not remember?" A beautiful sing song voice appeared in my head
"Aceleve?" I asked. The question was said aloud from my own surprised. I don't know how to communicate back to her
"Just speak normally love, except in your head" Aceleve advised.
"Aceleve, my darling, what's happened? Why did you-? My love I have so many questions" I stuttered.
"I know. As do I. Like why won't I wake up?" She asked me, irritation in her soft as silk voice.
"I don't know my love. We'll try everything we can do wake you. Aceleve my dear, did you know you were pregnant?" I asked her.
"I'm what?!"
