The resurrection of Roy surprised everyone, Aceleve doesn't know yet but she will. Roy isn't the same as he was, and never will be. When the Asguardians finally recovered Roy from the Bifrost he was almost unrecognizable, his body was shredded, he was blind but his eyes held the universe, his body was weak and couldn't take the wrath of the bifrost like his mind could. But with his heritage his mind was still alive, the doctors provided him with a new body and the very first mind transfusion occurred successfully. He was now what was called a "stud" and all the woman chased him. Roy had been very secluded since the transfusion, kept to himself and barely came out for meals. He says he doesn't want to live. He says he should've died in the bifrost with honor. It is rumored that he keeps woman in his bed and drink in his veins to forget the death, and the unholy revival. The Asguardians had no choice but to revive him, he is a valued warrior and he was still alive mentally. There are no excuses good enough to justify what had to be done. He says if Aceleve dies, he will end his life as well, he says he doesn't want to live in a world where he can't protect and love his only family left. He wants to be a good and responsible uncle and take his niece or nephew everywhere. Be proud of his sisters child, and for the newborn to be proud of him. It's cruel to keep Aceleve out of the know and for her to still believe that he is gone but she has to focus on the baby, on awaking, on her parents, on Loki. He says he doesn't feel the same, he says he feels like a ghost of his former self and it doesn't feel right. He can't look at himself in the mirror without disgust and hatred, nothing will be the same. He often sits in his room with a blade in his hand and weeps for the death that should have come. He also visits Aceleve's bedside and admits his wishes, he sits with a blade aimed at his abdomen while clutching Aceleve's small hand, crying that he'll kill her then himself so they won't be alone in the world anymore. The woman and liquor distract him and he often goes on rampages in the training room with his beautiful sword and a innocent training dummy taking his wrath. The girl Roy was with for such a long time believed that once Roy died, he was gone forever. So she had no need to stay alone. Roy went and searched for her but found her with another man, his heart was torn from his chest but he had no anger. He understood her reasoning but couldn't forgive her for it. How could she move on so quickly. That question circled his mind late at night when the drink had emptied and his tears had dried on his cheeks. Liada had been the first good thing that happened to him since coming to Asguard and now it's gone. He approached her once, but she denied him, stating he was a monster, a walking dead man and wanted nothing to do with him. That just made him burst into tears on the spot and she had no sympathy for him. Sure there had been other woman but they were temporary, he had no connection to them.  He often goes out with Thor and the Warriors Three to protect the nine realms, he had been accepted as one of their own and now is a very high ranking officer in the Asguardian military. He is successful in Asguard, but not happy, nothing can take the blackness from his heart. His face betrays no emotion, his new blue eyes are hard crystals and show no happiness. Roy is unsure of what will make it better, he has everything he's ever wanted but it can't bring him to the light. He cannot kill himself, for now with the newly profound science doctors can revive him again and again and keep providing him with new bodies. There is no escape. So for now he often hides in his room or spars with innocent trainers. He goes to the calm black waters where he heard about Aceleve's near death and sits calmly and stares out at the beauty. He practices his beautiful water powers daily to become stronger, to prepare himself for anything. As long as Aceleve is alive he promised he will live, but once his beloved only sister is gone. For good, there will be no hesitation as he plunges a blade into his stomach. The people of Asguard have been kind to him, provided him good weapons, shelter, food, a high ranking officer of the military all because of the relationship that his sister has with the prince. It's all based on chance that he had been so lucky. He should repay them, they gave him the gift of life, why is he so depressed. That thought ran his mind so, he can't explain the way he feels. He's just kind of there in physical form, but his mind is miles away. And nothing can fix that.
