I stood up from the table that Roy and I were at and headed towards my personal tent. I unzipped the flap and sunk into my sleeping bag with a sigh. I miss Aceleve, her beautiful head sleeping on my shoulder with her arm draped lazily over my stomach and her legs thrown over in mine. I finally fell asleep with thoughts of Aceleve's beautiful toned body giving me an uncomfortable bulge in my pants.

The next morning

I groaned and pulled myself out of my sleeping bag and into the clearing where my soldiers were making themselves busy, some preparing breakfast while others sparred against each other. I scanned the clearing, looking for Roy. I finally found him speaking in a small circle with my navigator, translator, Jackson and Austin. I headed towards them, taking in my surroundings as I went.
"Good morning, my liege" Austin greeted.  I nodded in greeting and took the mug of water that was offered to me. I gulped greedily and cleared my throat of sleep.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Roy asked.
"I'm going to transport my mini army to Jotenheim, except for Austin and Jackson.  You two will come with Roy and I and help us get out of this miserable country" I informed. The small group nodded in understanding and I took another drink of my water.
"You three get ready to move. Roy, come with me to address the platoon"
Everyone nodded in union and the navigator and translator left to join their comrades and Austin and Jackson went their separate ways while Roy followed me and we walked towards the front of the camp.
"May I have your attention please" I said with authority. Immediately conversation stopped and everyone turned front and center.
"In about twenty minutes all of you will be transported to another realm. The feeling will be like nothing you've ever experienced before and you'll be working with creatures from your worst nightmares. However, as long as you don't disobey them or do anything stupid, they will not harm you. The creatures I'm talking about are called Jotens, I rule over them as their king. The jotens main assignment is to train you and get you prepared for something that is a long time coming. You will be taken to a realm called Jotenheim and there you will have three meals every day. You will not be malnourished like you were when you were under the command of Jake. If you obey me and do everything correctly and efficiently you will be treated very well. Now, gather all of your equipment and stand at attention in this location in twenty minutes. Dismissed" I announced. Immediately the army scurried around to gather their equipment and stomp out the fires that were started. I watched as they made sure not to leave any mark that they were here, I'm impressed.
"Do you think the elderly will be able to withstand the teleportation?" Roy asked.
"Yes, these people have grown up to be strong. Something as simple as realm jumping won't be enough to stop them" I said with confidence. Roy nodded and remained silent as we watched the soldiers gathered their equipment. The group was standing at attention ready to go with ten minutes to spare, I made a good choice in recruiting these men.
"Okay, I know to you mortals this is going to sound very unbelievable but I'm going to need you to trust me" I began. The group nodded in understanding.
"Now, everyone close your eyes and focus your energy on me" I commanded. I watched as they closed their eyes and I began to feel their energy being pushed onto me. I took a deep breath and focused my power on each and every persons energy and told my power to send them to jotenheim. Immediately I felt their energies leave me and I opened my eyes to find the clearing empty. I smiled in success and turned to face Austin and Jackson, who both had looks of amazement on their faces.
"Now then, you two" I said, addressing the two mortals.
"It's time we head to the United Kingdom" I told them. They nodded and Jackson grabbed a compass from his pocket and stared expectantly at his brother.
"Is there a problem?" Roy asked.
"Please excuse my brother, he had his tongue cut out by Jake because he was being a dumbass" Austin explain.
My eyebrows rose in shock as I crossed my arms across my chest
"So he's a mute?" I questioned. Jackson nodded.
"Yes, but he's the best navigator I've ever met. He's never lost and can navigate the skies better than a sailor" Austin explained.
I nodded
"Alright, then lets get going" I commanded. The three men nodded in agreement and we each picked up our packs and threw them over our shoulders. This morning Roy and I changed into more rustic clothing, Austin had provided us with blue jeans, boots, and flannel shirts; personally I think this is much more comfortable.  Jackson looked from his compass, to the sun, and down to the small map he held in his hand and began in the direction of the dense forest.
We walking in silence for a very long time, during this my thoughts raced through my head, most of them about Aceleve and my unborn child. My love has been silent in the past week I've been gone, I hope she's alright. Of course she is, she's Aceleve Jewl Hart. She's stronger than anyone I've ever met. But is she really Aceleve? Could Damian be right? Is she some mystical creature who feeds off of the love given to her by her brother and I? No, of course not. I know Aceleve better than she knows herself, it's impossible for her to be a imposter.  I hope. And what of Roy? He's in a borrowed body, he's depressed and lonely without his sister. He hides his emotions with a chiseled jaw and frozen eyes. Imagine, your world turning upside down with the simple light of flame, your lover being burned to a crisp, and everything you've ever known and looked forward to turned into a dream. I do not regret lighting the match, but maybe I could've recruited him in a more humane way. Without destroying his entire future. I curse myself for having these thoughts and letting my mind stray from the task at hand, but this is the first time where I've really been able to think about everything I've done. Maybe I'm starting to have regrets from the things I've done as a evil man. Maybe Aceleve has changed my heart and the only thing I want in life is my small family. What has the girl with blonde hair and brown eyes done to me?
