After an unsatisfactory sleep the full moon finally brought release to my discomfort and shined over the land, casting a white glow through the tree line. Surprisingly enough, I was the first awake. I groaned as I stretched my arms above my head, petty and spoiled as it sounds, I do miss my king-sized feather cushioned bed.
"General Hart" I called to Roy. He groaned and rolled over, facing away from me. I chuckled at his response and realized how similar Roy and Aceleve are. She would give me the exact response but only on some days, if I woke her too early in the morning she would send a couple of curse words my way.
"Hart" I addressed again.
"Fuck off"
I sighed and looked at our two traveling companions.
"Austin, Jackson" I called, standing from the soft ground.
"What he said" Austin responded. I rolled my eyes as their defiance started to anger me. I cleared my throat and walked over to my general and two commanders
"I suggest the three of you get off of your asses immediately, or else I will do it for you" I threatened, my voice thick with menace.
My words seemed to do the trick as they immediately got up and stood shoulder to shoulder in a straight line, facing me.
"Good decision" I praised.
"Do we have time for breakfast?" Austin groaned.
"Did anyone bring breakfast?" I question with a critical look on my face
"No"
"Exactly, so stop complaining and let's get moving" I commanded. My small posse nodded grudgingly and we headed down to the muddy beach, the sand pulling at our boots and leaving footprints that I wished away with magic. We paused at the shore and looked expectantly at Roy, awaiting his commands.
"Okay, everyone wade into the water, you don't have to go very far, just enough to to where your ankles are covered" we did as told and quietly splashed our way into the waters, I barely noticed the freezing temperature. I watched my brother-in-law as he made a long sweeping motion over his head and the water followed his commands, creating a bubble of air around us.
"Everyone try not to speak to much or breathe to hard, we have limited oxygen in here, okay?"
We nodded in understanding and after making sure we were completely covered in water I began to lead the group down beneath the waves. The ocean was the color of night and it was fairly difficult to see.
"Anyone have a torch?" I asked, not expecting an answer. I heard a bag unzip and the click of something plastic then instantly, a yellow fluorescent light shined from behind me. I turned to face the two brothers and noticed Jackson holding the yellow light that was being contained with a black looking handle. My face frowned as I stared at the foreign thing, trying not to let my ignorance show through. Jackson stretched the object out to me and nodded, motioning for me to take it. I grabbed the thing exactly where Jackson was holding it, not entirely sure if the thing will burn me or not and held it out in front of me, the yellow bulb lighting the sandy floor beneath us. I shined the light around us, illuminating the spectacular sight of fish swimming all around us, the light frightening them away, the force of their tails shaking our air bubble just slightly. Out of the corner of my eye I watched Jackson make a motion that looked like high-fiving the air, once at mouth level and then a second time at chest level.
"Amazing" Austin translated. I focused the light back in front of us and noticed on the handle of the light was a small compass, pointing north, perfect, we're going the correct direction. The journey was slow and soon began to get boring as their was no conversation going around us, besides the two brothers speaking in their silent language of signs. Out of habit I continued to look around us for signs of threat, but being so far beneath the ocean's surface there's no possible way for us to be in any danger. As we walked my thoughts began to wonder towards Aceleve. When she awakes, will she be proud of how far I've come to save her? Will she be glad to see I've made new comrades? Will she be impressed of Roy's leadership skills and strength in power? And why haven't we spoken since I left her hospital bed? Her body is asleep but her mind is active, what has changed inside of her? Perhaps what Damien said is true, and we're finally seeing Ace's true colors. Since her awakening her speech has been strange, but I blamed that on the frustration of her body not responding to her brain's commands. My eyes focused in front of me at Roy's back, his shoulders rigid beneath his red and black flannel shirt. Does he believe Damien's accusations? I wish I could see into his past, from when Aceleve was young, or as Damien claims, when she first came to earth and found the small infant on the side of the road. And why Roy of all children? Did she know of his magical powers even before they were revealed? I have so many questions and no answers. This trip is taking far too long. I wish I could teleport everybody to our destination, but I have to see it in my minds eye, and since I have no knowledge of what this forbidden library looks like, we are stuck walking on the oceans floor. It was also difficult to judge the amount of time we had been walking, as well as the distance we have gone. If I could guess, we had been walking for 18 miles. Suddenly, I heard a small gasp of pain behind me.  I turned back and noticed Austin clutching his finger.

"What happened?" I asked, slowing my pace but not stopping.

"I just cut my finger" he explained, sticking his finger in his mouth and sucking to slow the bleeding.

"Let me see" I grumbled, grabbing his injured hand by the wrist and examining his injured hand.

"How did you manage to do this?" I asked, willing the cut away with magic.

"I was messing with a piece of coral, I just didn't realize how sharp it was"

"Apparently" I said sarcastically.

"Loki!" Roy yelled. I turned back to the front to see what he was yelling about and suddenly, charging at us, was a giant beast with a full mouth of teeth and silvery rubber like skin with three fins started circling us.

"Roy, what is that?" I asked, suddenly on my guard.

"Thats a shark"

"A shark?"

"He must have smelt Austin's blood, they're attracted to the sent of blood and are huge carnivores"

"Fantastic" I said dryly.

"Well, what do we do?"

"When it charges at us, which it will undoubtedly do, we fight" Roy said. I summoned my two blades to hands and waited for the sharks next move.
