December 11th

Tonight is the night of the concert with Billie and Jesse.

I'm scared to be honest. He and I have never really spoken but i'm sure he doesn't like me just as much as I don't like him.

But Billie wanted this and i'm doing it for her.

I wore a mini skirt, tight black shirt and a leather jacket with black boots.

Maybe it was too much. Or not nice enough. Maybe i'm overthinking. Why am I so worried? It's probably just me trying to make a good first impression with Jesse. Well I guess second first impression.

A black Challenger pulled into my driveway and a familiar girl got out. She knocked lightly on my door. I walked over slowly so it didn't look like I was waiting for her.

"Hey Madison." She smiled and pulled me into a hug. She was wearing a different perfume today. It smelt woody and spicy,it suited her very well.

"You look amazing." She said when we pulled apart. "Aw thank you Billie. You look great." Her hair was tied back and she was wearing a black jacket over a black dress. I haven't seen her in a dress before and im kinda sad she doesn't wear them more often. She looks impeccable.

"Where's Jesse?" I asked. "Oh he's just going to meet us there." She said. I walked out and locked my door. "Any reason why?" She and I both got into her car. "He live across town so it's just easier if we drive separately." I nodded and looked out my window as she drove out of my neighborhood.

"I'm kinda nervous." I blurted out. "Really? Why?" I continued to look out of my window. "Just wanna make a good impression on him you know." I looked at her. She was already looking at me.

A smile spread across her lips. "Don't worry." Her hand found mine and squeezed it lightly. "I'm sure he'll like you." She let go of my hand and placed it back on the steering wheel. I nodded however I don't think she's right though. But I wasn't going to argue with her.

We sat at a balcony together. There weren't many people here with us. A few fans of Billie's came up to her but nothing crazy.

As for my introduction to Jesse, it wasn't anything special. We said hi to each other before we were whisked away to our seats. Billie sat between me and him.

The music was soft and mellow. It was nice. Billie talked to Jesse a lot during the concert though. I didn't mind much because I was entranced by the music but I did wish she would acknowledge me more.

 Maybe i'm the jealous one.

Once the concert was over and people started walking out of the venue, Billie got up, holding Jesse close to her. I walked behind them and followed them to the parking lot. "Do you guys wanna come over?" She asked jesse and I. "I wish I could baby but I have a meeting early tomorrow and I don't wanna be tired or anything." Jesse said. We were by the cars now. "Madison?"

"Yeah sure." She nodded and turned back to Jesse. "Talk to you tomorrow love." He said to her. They kissed for a few seconds too long and he whispered something to her before pulling away. She laughed and hit his shoulder.

"Okay bye bil." He looked me up and down. "Nice meeting you Madison." He said with a tiny smile on his lips. "Yeah nice meeting you too." I gave him a small fake smiled.

He walked over to his car. Billie unlocked her car and we both got in. "So." She smiled, waiting for me to give my opinion on him. He still remains on my shit list not going to lie. I don't want to tell her that. She looks so optimistic that him and I are going to become friends.
