December 17th
It's the day before Billie's birthday and i've spent the whole day getting her present ready.
She said she doesn't like big extravagant things so I decided to plan a dinner with all her friends and family at her favorite restaurant.
I also got her a little something.
I told her I was taking her out to dinner tonight but she doesn't know where or that her friends are going to be there.
The only reason we're doing it tonight instead of tomorrow is because she has a show tomorrow night and it'd be too late to get everyone to go to the restaurant.
I drove to her house in a tight black shirt, baggy dark wash jeans and a leather jacket.
When I pulled into her driveway she was quick to come outside. She wore a black wool sweater and parachute pants.
"Hey birthday girl." I said as she slid in the passenger seat. "Few more hours then I'm 21." She said. I smiled at her then started the car and began driving.
We haven't spoken about what happened at my house a few days ago. She clearly wasn't up to talking about it yet so I decided to just let it be and continue on with my friendship with her.
I mean we've all kissed our friends before right? Plus its not like this would go anywhere. She's dating Jesse and she claims she's straight.
After a quick drive we arrived at the restaurant.
I texted the group chat with everyone in it and made sure they were at the table. "Oh my god how'd you know Amelia's is my favorite?" She said as we both got out of the car.
"Just a hunch." She smiled at me and pulled me into a hug.
"Wait I have a gift for you." I reached into my trunk and pulled out a little bag. "You can't open it until after dinner though." She rolled her eyes. "Fuck you." She groaned dramatically.
We walked into the restaurant and a waitress took us to our seats.
Everyone was sitting there waiting for us to show up. Billies eyes lit up when she saw everyone sitting at the table. "Madison you didn!". She said with a big smile on her face and ran up to hug her friends.
I invited everyone who Billie cared about, even Jesse.
I didn't want him here but Billie would have so I took one for the team. We sat down and everyone started chatting.
Billie sat next to me at the end of the table. She leaned over to whisper in my ear. "Thank you so much for this." When she pulled away she had a huge grin on her face. "Of course Billie."
She grabbed my hand under the table and gave it a quick squeeze. I thought she would let go but she didn't, she kept our hands interlocked.
Dinner went so well. Billie was ecstatic the whole time and everyone had a really good time. Jesse seemed a bit perturbed that Billie sat next to me instead of him but he'll get over it.
At the end of the dinner everyone gave Billie her gifts.
She's hard to buy for considering she's rich and she can get whatever she wants whenever she wants so I went for something more sentimental I suppose.
I was the last person to give her a gift. She opened the bag and gasped when she saw it. "Oh my fucking god its the perfume isn't it?" She laughed and pulled the box out of the bag.
