May 1st

Before I knew it, I was whisked off to my hotel room to change into my after party outfit.

I was very anxious about the whole thing but Billie in particular.

I wondered if she would even talk to me while I was there or if she would try to right her wrong.

I also wondered about Jesse and if he'd be there.

It thought it was kind of weird that he wasn't at the Met but at the same time I don't imagine that he could clean up enough for the Met Gala.

With that being said I got into a black corset with a white long dress shirt under it and made my way to Casa Cipriani. Its a 5 star hotel where I guess this after party is being held.

When I arrived I was greeted by a man in a suit escorting me to the party.

Loud music blasted out of the room and when I entered it was like I was hit with a wall of heat and different kinds of perfume.

Quickly, I went over to the bar to maybe take down the intensity of this whole situation.

I got a rum and coke and sat at the bar. My eyes skimmed over everyone here, looking for Billie.

I wasn't sure what was going to happen between us or what she wanted from all of this but I was hopeful we could be friends again or something.

I sipped on my drink and hung my head down for a moment just thinking and not to mention I was exhausted but all my thoughts were stalled when I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder.

I lifted my head to see Billie in a little backwards hat and black pants and jacket.

"You good?" She asked with a smile.

"Great great." I said as optimistically as I could.

"Can I join you?" She asked and pointed to the stool next to me.

I nodded my head and she took a seat.

"You look very pretty." A little grin followed her words.

I blushed and looked down at my cup. "So do you."

For the time in a while, I felt genuinely flustered. She had that effect on people.

"So what have you been up to. And don't give me some bull shit answer." She said.

"Just working on a new movie. Kinda just focused on work right now." I told her. She nodded and leaned on the bar counter.

"What about you?" I asked.

"Focusing on myself for now before I start the festival shows." She played with a coaster.

My eyes were drawn to her hands for a moment.

"That's good." I said. My eyes shifted focus to her eyes. They were hooded as always but now they had a certain gaze that caught my eye.

"So you seeing anyone?" She asked. It kind of caught me off guard.

"What made you ask?" I decided to keep her on the edge of her seat.

"Just wondering." She smiled. "So...are you?" She asked again.

I took a long sip of my drink. "No not currently."

She looked a little relieved to hear that.

"I saw that guy you were dating briefly." She said. Wow she must have actually been stalking my Instagram.

"You were too hot for him." Her eyes stayed glued on the coaster between her fingers but a grin washed over her face.

"He was supposed to be my date tonight actually." I told her. She finally looked at me again.

"So, what happened?"

"He was talking to other girls." I admitted.

She looked utterly shocked. "That ugly little man did that to you?" She exclaimed.

I laughed a little. "Yeah its okay though his dick was tiny." She and I both laughed for a moment. Once we stopped, the question that had been burning in the back of my mind began to eat away at me again.

I cleared my throat. "So where's your date?" The second I said that she looked down again.

"Too short notice to get a new one." She said blankly.

I was shocked. "Wait what?" I said out of disbelief.

"You and Jesse..." I trailed off and waited for her to finish my sentence.

"Yeah we broke up about two ago weeks ago." She moved her lips in a flat line.

"Oh i'm sorry Billie. That sucks." She nodded and cleared her throat.

"wanna know something funny?" She asked. "What's that?"

"I told him about everything between us and he said he knew." She looked away again.

I was in shock.

She told him about us? He knew and still stayed with her? so many questions rushed through my head but I stayed silent.

We both didnt say anything for a little while.

"I'm sorry about everything between us. I was immature." She said softly.

Wow she really did man up.

"So was I. Its water under the bridge now though." I said and put my hand on top of hers.

She looked at me and smiled before leaning in to hug me.

"Thank you Madison." She whisper next to my ear. I rubbed her back before we both pulled away.

"Wanna dance?" I asked. A smile slide over her face and she grabbed my hand and led me to the dance floor.

She and I were with each other the whole night.

We stayed at the first after party for a little while before we went to another one and then decided to leave and get some food at a little restaurant.

Then around 5 we decided to go to our hotels.

She got her security to pick us up in one of their big ass cars.

Once we got in the car a wave of exhaustion washed over me and I think Billie felt it too because she rested her head on my shoulder and fell asleep for the drive.

We drove through the quiet city streets and arrived at Billies hotel first.

I shook her and she sheepishly awoke.

"Hotel already?" She said and stretched.

"Mhm." was all I could muster.

"Okay well I guess i'll text you later?" She said as a question.

"Yeah that sounds good." The security man opened the door for her.

She gave me a quick hug and slid out of the seat. "Night Madison." She waved with a little smile on her face, making her dimple show.

"Night Billie." And with that the door closed and I watched her be escorted to the hotel.

The car started back up again and I was driven to my hotel room.

The whole way there Billie was on my mind.

Tonight felt like we really connected in a way we never have before.

Maybe that's because all the times we used to hang out it would always be in a sexual context and now we don't have that type of relationship anymore so we could focus on actually getting to know eachother better.

I have no idea why i'm so drawn to her but now that we reconnected I feel like a magnet is pulling me closer to her.

It'll pass i'm sure.
