Chapter 1: Coronation Day

At the mountain pass

As kion and his friends were entering the pass kion was pinned out of nowhere. When he looked up he to see who pinned him, he saw rani. "kion!" she shouted in excitement. " hello queen rani," he replied. Rani got off of kion.

"why are you here? I thought that the pride lands needed help," she wounder. " I'm here because I missed you and when we got there we found out that zira completed her journey in the circle of life and her pride joined my dad's pride," he explained.

"But you can't stay because what if there's another threat, how will you defend the pridelands if your here?" she asked. "Well we decided to no longer be the lion guard... with one lion and so kion gave up the roar to the new lion guard but he still has it," kion started and bunga added.

"So does that mean your staying?" rani asked." yes, but that's if you'll have us?" he said. "off cause but soon you'll be helping me decide that," rani stated. "looking forward to it queen rani," kion stated.

After that everyone when to sleep except the night pride. " Umm kion since your going to be king soon why not sleep in the tree, with me," rani asked then blushed.

"OK," kion said then blushed as well.

At the tree

When kion and rani arrived at the tree, rani hoped on the Rock and kion lied on the floor because he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. " why are you on the floor? Come up here unless I make you uncomfortable," she said putting her ears down.

" No that's not it, I just thought that you might feel uncomfortable," kion said. He hoped on the rock then cuddled her. "goodnight rani." he wished her. "goodnight kion," she wished him back.

The next day
Kion was the first to wake because he couldn't sleep. He was to excited and nervous to sleep. He stood up to stretch, afterwards he went for a walk to think and to see if his family is there yet. When he arrived at the pass he saw his dad so he ran to him.

"dad!" he shouted. "kion!" a lioness shouted. "mom!" he replied

."where is kiara and kovu?" he asked. "their coming with the others," simba stated. "I can't believe our son is going to be king," nala said with excitement,"

" yeahhh,"kion replied in a nervous way. Simba noticed this but decided to keep quiet until his alone with kion. "so kion can you show us around? I would love to see this place," simba stated.

"OK dad. " kion replied then started showing his parents around. After showing his parents around they parted ways.

When kion arrived to the tree he heard rani calling him."rani what's wrong," he wondered. "oh so it wasn't a dream," rani replied then went to hug him. " what wasn't a dream?" he asked.

"you," she replied with a giggle then pinned him then licked his face. "oh," he replied then blushed.Then rani got off of him then said. "I was afraid that you coming back was a dream," she stated then blushed. "sorry I wanted to take a walk then I saw my parents at the pass so I showed them around and I guess I lost track of time," he explained.

"Oh is everyone here already?" rani asked. "No just my parents, everyone else is going to come later," he explained. "OK, so are you ready for your Coronation," she asked. "Umm yeah, I guess," he stated. "You guess?" she wondered.

"well yeah umm I just says I'm as ready as I'll ever be," he lied. He didn't want to tell her the true is that he feels he won't be a good king. "OK, so are you going on patrol with the day pride?" she asked.

"yeah since it might be my last patrol for a while," he said."ok I'll see you later then," she said then started walking away. "yeah... I'll see you later," he replied putting his ears down.
