Chapter 13

Akana POV

As we at the beach. Kuroi sat on the blanket at the shore with Suguru. While I was talking Yu over the phone. I was wearing a white wave mini dress.

"I can't believe I was defeated by a member of the time vessel association. A non-curse user too... I'm so embarrassed." Kurio muttered and sweat dropped.

"No worries, It was a surprise attack. It was also my fault." Suguru says.

"Was it really a surprise attack though? I was on my guard after the Q incident. And I can't quite remember being kidnapped..." 

"Moreover, you came by plane? What if you were attacked? Satoru's got sharp eyes. Before we took off, he checked out both the passengers and crew as well as the plane. I was escorting the plane using my curses during our flight. It was safer than risking an unfamiliar route on land." He explained.

"I'm actually more concerned about why they chose Okinawa."Suguru added. 

"Was it to buy time? Even if they can't kill Master Riko, did they do this to dealay the merger till after tomorrow's full moon? Then they would have chosen a rural area without much infrastructure or roads." She questioned as her eyes widened in worried. "Maybe they plan to the airport!"

"Perhaps. But, it's okay. We're not the only...  who came to Okinawa..." Suguru calmly as he look back me who I was talking to Yu over the phone. 

"YIPPEEEEEE!" Riko and Gojo, exclaimed in unison as they jumped into the water. 

"Ew, that's so gross, Satoru!" Riko say, laughing as he waves a sea cucumber in her faces. Gojo chuckled as he set it back down into the water.

"Thanks, stay safe the both of you." I hung up on my classmate. As I coming up two them.

I noitced Suguru suddenly checked the time on his watch, upset it had to end. Suguru called. " Alright Satoru, time to go."

"Oh, It's time already?" Gojo question.

"Awww..." Riko pounded.

"Suguru, How about we leave tomorrow morning instead?" She gasped in excitement.

"But..."

I noitced Gojo quickly left Riko in the water without her noticing, and he now sulked all the way to Suguru. "The weather is great."

"Beside, If we're in Okinawa instead of Tokyo... There'll be fewer curse users." Gojo put his hands on his pihps to add to attitude.

"Are you taking this seriously?" Suguru asked.

"It'll be better if the bounty is lifted on the way too."

"Satoru. You've been using your technique nonstop since yesterday, haven't you? And what about sleep? You were planning on staying awake all night again right? Are you you sure you don't need to get back to Jujutsu high?" Suguru lfet pity for his friend, he always had to bear the weight of the world and never had time to just be him.

"I'm good, man. I thinking playing 99 years of Momotaru Dentetsu is harder. Beside... you're here too." Gojo lad his hand on Suguru's shoulder. He smiled lighttly, earning him smile and sigh in reply from his conflicted friend.

Staying at the beach wasn't the only thing the five of us did. After Gojo suggested that we stay for another day, we all went to an aquarium. I looked into the tanks, watching all of the various fishes swim around. Suguru came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder.
