Chapter 7: So sweet

Zandik pov:

After a couple days of Akita not coming to the akadeymia he had been declared missing. Due to that people have actively started looking for him even the woods where I had..disposed of him. It didn't take people long to find his blood splattered on nearby trees but luckily they were complete idiots and never thought to dig under their feet...

A couple weeks went by and the case had been closed due to them not having any leads, he wasn't worth anyone's time anyway. I look over my notes and papers and I gathered them up in a neat pile and putting them on my desk for now I let out a tired groan and walk over to my bed before sitting on the edge running a hand through my messy blue hair.

I stare at the dark wood flooring under my feet for a couple moments before thoughts of Y/n started filling my head. I smiled to myself thinking about her bright eyes and beutiful smile. I lay back on my bed and stare at the ceiling for a couple moments still thinking of Y/n. I shook my head and placed my hand on my face mentally face palming myself for thinking of Y/n in such a lewd way. "God get a grip stop being such a pervert..." I murmur under my breath to myself putting my hand back on the bed and letting out a deep sigh. I move my hand away from my face and stare back up at the ceiling. Until letting out a low groan and getting up from the bed and leaving my dorm before locking it behind me.

Y/n pov:

I stood in my dorm quietly humming to myself as I took out the small batch of cookies I baked the sweet scent of the cookies wafting into my nose. I set the tray down on the counter and looked down at them quietly. After a couple seconds I heard a knock at the front door I walked over to the door and quickly opened it. And to my surprise I seen Zandik standing there.

"Zandik! What are you doing here?!..." I say in a surprised tone as I look up at him which he only replied to with a slight smirk. "Well I just thought I would pay you a visit..it's no trouble at the moment right?..." He says with a smug look as he looked down at me leaning against the doorframe. "No not at all..come in..." I say with a smile as I step to the side allowing Zandik to walk inside. He thanked me with a nod and pushed himself off the doorframe and walked inside my dorm. "Smells nice in here.."

Zandik says looking around observing the furniture and decorations. "Oh yea I was just baking cookies when you came..." I say closing the door behind him and looking back at him, "Really? Is that always why you smell so good? You're baking cookies huh?..." Zandik says looking back at me with a smug but joking expression. But his words make me look up at him as I felt my cheeks get a bit warm from his sudden compliment.

"Oh well I don't bake them all the time..Just when I'm bored or have time to myself..." I say with a smile before walking over to the kitchen hearing Zandik follow behind me. I walked to the cookies I left on the counter to cool down and stared taking them one by one off the tray. "Mind if I try some?..." I hear Zandik say behind me before leaning against the counter behind me looking down at the cookies before back over at me.

"Oh yea of course!" I exclaim before taking a cookie from the tray and putting it up to his lips with a smile. Zandik looks down at me slightly taken aback as I held the cookie up to him seemingly not expecting me to feed him myself. But he doesn't complain and instead lifts up his hand and holds my wrist gently keeping my hand in place as bites down onto the cookie. I watch him a bit nervously not sure if he would like it or not as I watched him lick the chocolate off the corner of his lips from the chocolate chips, savoring the taste. "Not bad.." Zandik says with a smile before grabbing the cookie from my hand and taking a second bite his words making me let out a soft sigh of relief and nod my head slightly.
