LANDO NEVER THOUGHT HE'D EVER BE in this position. staring at his roommate from the kitchen as she sorted through clothes. his eyes screamed love. he had to force himself to look away so he didn't look weird. he just returned from australia and they were now getting ready to fly to jersey for the gender reveal. oscar, vienna, and lissie were also flying with them. "lan, are you packed already?" the girl stood from her spot on the floor and walked over to him. "i just didn't unpack last night ." he said taking a sip of the tea he had made. "lando you can't take the same dirty clothes." madelyn shook her head making her way to his bedroom, he let her and continued drinking his tea then he remembered. "wait!" he shouted running into the room.it was too late, madelyn opened the suitcase and found what he had been waiting to give her. "lando." she turned around with tears in her eyes. when madelyn saw the cartier box she didn't think it was for her but the card had her name on it. "this is— too weren't supposed to see that yet." he walked over opening the box. the girl literally gasped as he pulled the bracelet out. "lando this is too much." she shook her head as he slipped it onto her wrist. "i don't think so. you deserve it." he said holding her wrist out. "lando this bracelet is eleven thousand dollars, i can't accept it." she shook her head. "you can and you will, or it'll just sit here because i can't take it back." he lied but she didn't need to know that. "thank you lando, i love it." the girl wrapped her arms around him.
what did an eleven thousand dollar bracelet mean? madelyn was packing for lando, his trainer called him for a last minute session before he was free for the next two days. vienna knocked in the apartment door, madelyn dropped lando's clothes and basically ran to the front door and opened it. "v, my head is spinning." she dramatically said pulling her in. "what happened?" vienna eyes widened seeing the bracelet, she grabbed madelyn's wrist and gasped. "is this why your head spinning?" she shook her head. "yes! vienna what am i supposed to take from, an eleven thousand dollar bracelet?" madelyn gulped and vienna shook her head. "oscar bought me a car." vienna stated. "what!" madelyn laughed. "our one year anniversary, he bought me a car. you know my sage green porsche?" madelyn nodded. "this is different lando and i haven't been together a whole year. we've known each other three months." vienna followed madelyn to lando's room. vienna laid on the bed as madelyn continued to pack.
"he definitely has feelings for you." vienna said spinning the bracelet around with her fingers. madelyn had took the bracelet off and handed it to vienna. she didn't want to think about it anymore. "he does not." madelyn shook her head in disbelief putting the last thing in the suitcase before zipping it up. "madelyn bell, he feels something for you or he wouldn't have gotten you an eleven thousand dollar bracelet." vienna handed it back to her. "and if you didn't feel anything for him you wouldn't be packing his suitcase for him." she added as madelyn put the bracelet back on. "you're right. i do feel something for him." she said. "but it's impossible for him to like me that way, why would he?" madelyn sighed placing her hand on her bump. "mads, just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you don't deserve to be loved." vienna stood up and hugged her new friend, turning into best friend number two.
the two girls talked for a few more hours until lando returned. it was already dark out. "i'll see you at the airport in a few hours." vienna gave madelyn a hug. "okay, be careful. love you." madelyn said as they pulled away. "love you too. bye lando." the man waved from the kitchen. madelyn shut the door and turned to lando who was drinking a glass of water. "your suitcase is packed." she smiled at him before slowly walking towards her room. "where are you going?" lando questioned. "to get ready for bed." madelyn said and he nodded. the girl went into her room and leaned against the door. "fuck." finally saying out loud that she had feelings for him was like a breath of fresh air but she knew she had to stay winded just in case he didn't feel the same and she ruined the entire friendship.
