ARTHUR WALKED INTO HIS GUEST BEDROOM WITH A MATCHA TEA. madelyn smiled getting up from the bed. "thank you." she said taking it from him. "so you gonna tell me why you showed up on my doorstep last night?" arthur sat next to her. "i was supposed to go stay with alice because i just needed peace and quiet to think but i realized i wasn't gonna get that there." madelyn told him. "okay. and why does that pretty little head of yours need to think?" arthur knocked on her head making her chuckle. "lando and i kinda unofficially got together but he admitted to talking to his ex, but only after i caught him and asked." madelyn explains and arthur sighed, he was so awkward in these situations he didn't know what to
do or say as madelyn wiped her tears away.

the man hugged madelyn to comfort her. madelyn closed her eyes and took a deep breath holding onto her best friend. "it's so stupid. he can text or talk to whoever he wants. we weren't together but.... i thought that he liked me." she wiped her face pulling away. "i'm sure he does mads. guys can be stupid sometimes." arthur rubbed her back, she chuckled. "speaking from experience?" she joked making him laugh. "no. but i am a guy and i'm painfully aware of how idiotic i can be." arthur shook his head.

eventually madelyn wanted to get out of bed and stop mopping around. "any suggestions for lunch?" she walked out into the living room. arthur was sitting at his streaming set up. "i'm live." he told her muting turning around to talk to her. "nando's?" she ignored the live comment not really caring. "sure i'll text you my order." arthur smiled and she nodded grabbing her coat. "i'll be right back." madelyn waved going to the front door. "sorry chat, my best friend staying with me for a week." arthur chuckled as the chat kept asking who it was. "no it is not george. it's madelyn." he shook his head. "maybe she'll come on the stream when she comes back from grabbing food." arthur shrugged as he continued on with planet zoo.

thirty minutes later madelyn entered the flat, with the food in her hands. "hello." arthur smiled quickly excusing himself to help her. he walked back over with the food, madelyn a second after him. "i've gotten an oreo milkshake." she said showing it too the stream. "has this turned into to a mukbang?" arthur read and they laughed. "yeah actually." he answered pausing planet zoo and fixing the stream so it was just him and madelyn shown on the screen. "i've just gotten regular chicken strips and crips." madelyn showed them arthur smiled at her as she opened his and showed them the chicken wrap he'd wanted before handing it to him. "ask some questions for madelyn chat and she'll answer— i didn't agree to that." she teased taking a sip of her milkshake. "didn't ask."arthur shrugged as she scoffed. "fair enough."

as they ate the food and madelyn answered questions her phone dinged. the girl grabbed it and sighed. lando texted her and she showed arthur. the man looked at her phone then at her. "that person didn't know you were here?" arthur shook his head. "it's none of that persons business where i am, lost that right " she rolled her eyes at the camera, lando was watching and her phone went off again. "oh god you know it isn't like that and considering the position you're in right now, you're being very hypocritical and unfair." madelyn said her face getting red from anger. "not to mention you saying that is not helping your case." she added as her phone dinged again. "you know what you fuc— okay!" arthur pushed her rolling chair out of the frame. "well this was nice. i hope you all enjoyed and i apologize for the abrupt ending. bye everyone." he waved turning everything off.

"i'm so sorry arthur literally i'm so sorry." madelyn felt tears roll down her eyes. "don't cry mads please don't cry it's okay." he immediately hugged her. "why would he do that?" she sniffled hugging him back. "i don't know mads." he shook his head. madelyn didn't say anything else she just let arthur hold her. "do you want me to call him and tell him something?" arthur offered and she shook her head. "what would you tell him?" she sniffled and laughed at the same time. "i don't know. that theres nothing going on between us, because there isn't and he should know that. he should also apologize for making assumptions and for making you cry." arthur said rubbing her shoulder and madelyn hugged him tighter. "thank you for being so kind arthur. i'm glad we reconnected." madelyn pulled away and arthur gave her a sweet smile. "me too, mads. i missed you." he kissed her head wiping her tears away.

LANDO GOT OUT OF HIS CAR, HE WALKED INTO AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. he went to the apartment number ginge told him. he knocked a few times before madelyn swung the door open. "lan.. lando? what're you doing here?" madelyn scoffed, the mclaren driver saw her red face and puffy eyes, he felt so bad because he knew he wS the reason she had that stuffy nose. he made her cry and he actually wanted to die. "madelyn, i'm sorry." he immediately pulled the flowers out from behind his back. madelyn felt like crying again. "my favorites?" the girl took the sunflowers and sighed. "v told me, a while back—this doesn't make up for anything lando."she told him and he nodded. "i know. i know and i know i have a lot of things to make up for and so much apologing to do. but i can't do that if you won't talk to me, if you aren't home." lando shook his head. "well your here. talk." she said. "can i come in?" he asked, she nodded letting him inside. "where's arthur?" lando questioned. "filming with george and arthur hill." she answered and lando nodded as they sat on the couch.

"go ahead and talk." madelyn said and lando nodded. "i should probably start by telling you that i haven't spoken to  magui since after the chinese gp." he spoke softly, madelyn cringed at the mention of her name. "i had zero intentions of getting back with her and i should've said that before you left and i should've told you i was speaking to her in the first place." lando continued and madelyn just sat and listened. "i uh, i don't want be with anyone but you. you've become my best friend and these last three weeks have been hell not having you in my corner." lando wiped the tears that fell from his eyes. "i really need you to forgive me because just the mere thought of us not at least being friends kills me."  he added. "i don't want to be your friend lando." the man face dropped and he nodded. "i want us to try actually being together. not just roommates that kiss." madelyn sighed as he took her hand and smiled. "so you forgive me?" he sniffled and she nodded. "thank god." he breathed out leaning in and placing his lips on hers. "no thank me." she mumbled making him chuckle, he rested his  forehead against hers. "madelyn jade smith, will you officially be my girlfriend?" he asked and she immediately nodded. "of course."
