"AUNT MADDY CAN I HAVE A CUPCAKE?" theo ran up to her as she was talking with chris and arthur. george was getting his ear called off by thomas. "of course love, i'll be back." madelyn told the boys as theo took her hand. the woman let him to the desert table. "which one is theo?" she asked pointing at the array of cupcakes. "vienna went a bit over board dont you think?" madelyn said softly as the boy looked at the cupcakes decorations. "i don't think so." vienna heard wrapping her arm around madelyn. "four different flavors and decorated cupcakes is a bit much." madelyn teased. "hi, i'm theo." the boy introduced himself. "well hello there handsome. how are you?" vienna kneeled down to his level, he smiled at the nickname. "i'm good, you're really pretty." theo said turning red. "thank you." vienna rubbed his shoulder.

"do you have a boyfriend?" theo asked making madelyn stifle a laugh. "i do." vienna smiled. "where is he?" theo asked as vienna looked around and pointed at oscar talking with logan and amelia. "oscar piastri's your boyfriend?" theo eyes widened. "sure is." vienna smiled. "he's my favorite driver!" theo exclaimed. "wanna go meet him?" vienna asked and he nodded frantically. "come one then." he put her hand out. "what about your cupcake?" madelyn asked smiling. "that can wait i'm meeting oscar!" theo jumped up and down once making both girls laugh.

madelyn looked back at her friends and sighed. she snuck off inside the house. lando noticed she was gone when he couldn't find her from his table talking with carlos and george. "excuse me." he said grabbing his beer and making his way inside. "maddy?" he called out no answer so he went into the bedroom. the girl laid in the bed crying. "madelyn, what happened?" he slowly went over sitting down next to her putting his beer in the nightstand. "i don't think i'm ready to be a mum lando." she snifled, lando didn't know what to say. he pulled her into him. madelyn rested her head on his legs as he ran his fingers through her hair. "what makes you say that mads?" lando asked. "i thought i could do this. i really thought i could do this." she cried, lando leaned down pulling her into his lap. madelyn hugged him putting her head in the crook of his neck. "why can't you do this, what happened madelyn?"lando pulled her away to look her in her eyes.

"i'm alone lando. my dad was almost never around and it messed me up mentally." madelyn shook her head. "callum isn't going to be in her or his life. i have to do this alone and i'm scared." she added. "you're not alone, maddy. you have me." lando moved hair out of her face. "do i? eventually you're gonna find someone you love and you're gonna want to live with her and i'm not gonna stand in the way— that's not going to happen madelyn." lando cut her off. "you don't know that." she sighed, lando stared into her eyes. he wanted to tell her what he was feelings, all he wanted to do was just tell her. "i do know that." lando shook his head. "but how?" she pushed, madelyn needed him to tell her. lando searched her eyes for any hints thag she felt the same. he watched her eyes drift to his lips and that was his sign and if he didn't say anything now he didn't think he ever would.

"i like you madelyn. like more than a friend, more than a roommate kinda of way." lando admitted, madelyn's breathing sped up. "lando— don't say anything." lando said pressing his lips to hers. madelyn was shocked but nevertheless kissed back. she placed her hands on the side of his neck pulling her closer. lando grabbed her legs and fixing them to straddle his lap. "lando." she pulled away out of breath resting her forehead on his. "madelyn." he grinned making her chuckle. "you're not going anywhere mads and neither am i." madelyn closed her eyes and nodded. "thank you for everything lando." she smiled.
"you deserve happiness madelyn." lando told her. "we both do." she responded. "madelyn! lando!" vienna's voice broke them apart. madelyn got off lando quickly. "you ready?" vienna walked in, the girl nodded. "absolutely." madelyn smiled going over to vienna who grabbed her hand and grabbed her out. lando followed with a cheeky smile on his face.
