"OH MY GOD!" MADELYN GROANED IN PAIN. the girl was trying her best to breathe in and out. "in through your nose out through your mouth." lando was breathing with her. "i know how to breathe." she gritted through her teeth and lando stifled a laugh looking at bea, who was hiding her smile. "okay miss smith, you're fully dialated to a ten so i'm gonna have you start pushing." doctor ellie said standing up from the chair she was sitting in at madelyn's feet. the girl was in position to start pushing. "okay okay." madelyn was hyperventilating. "you can do this madelyn." ellie patted her knee, mads nodded. "in just a few minutes you'll have a beautiful baby girl, push madelyn." ellie was in position. lando grabbed his girlfriends hand and patted her forehead with a cold rag. she was sweating like crazy.
"oh my fucking god!" she cried. "one more big push maddy." madelyn threw her head back. "i can't i can't." she cried. "you're almost there mads. you can do it." ellie said as lando leaned down to her ear. "come on baby one more push than we'll have our beautiful baby girl." he said kissing her head. "i can't lan, i'm so scared." madelyn whispered to him. "why my love?" lando chuckled softly. "i'm not ready for this—what if i'm not cut out out to be a mum. what if i screw her up— and r can sit here and talk about what if's all day, madelyn." lando put his forehead to hers. "who knows what the future has to hold for us." he whispered. "but what i do know is that i'll be with you every step of the way. if you screw her up i screw her up but we'll do it together and that's all that matters. right?" lando spoke to her with so much love and appreciation and everyone in the room could feel it. bea watched her daughter look at lando and nod. "together." madelyn nodded looking at the doctor. "i'm ready." she said. "okay one big push love." the lady doctor said and madelyn took a deep breath.
