Sea wandered through the enchanting streets of Paris, a mixture of freedom and melancholy swirled within him. The city's beautiful maze of narrow streets and grand boulevards offered countless surprises at every turn, yet Sea couldn't entirely escape the shadows of his past. Each step seemed to echo with memories he was trying to both cherish and forget.
Finding himself near the Seine River, Sea watched the gentle flow of the water reflecting the warm afternoon sun. The Eiffel Tower loomed in the distance, a majestic yet bittersweet reminder of the dreams he once shared with Jimmy. Standing there, with his camera in hand but momentarily forgotten, he felt a pang of nostalgia.
His thoughts drifted back to the days when he and Jimmy talked endlessly about visiting Paris. They had envisioned seeing the Eiffel Tower together, exploring the city hand in hand, basking in the romantic aura of their imagined future. A bittersweet smile crept onto Sea's face as he whispered into the gentle breeze, "Hia, I hope you're happy wherever you are."
He resumed his walk, allowing the sights and sounds of Paris to wash over him. The bustling streets, the vibrant chatter of people, and the distant melodies of street musicians created a comforting hum. Eventually, Sea found a quaint little café by the river, a place that seemed to be pulled straight from a postcard. He ordered a coffee and a croissant and chose a small table outside. Sitting there, he felt like an observer of life rather than a participant. The world moved around him, but Sea felt as if he were in a bubble, lost in his thoughts and memories.
As he sipped his coffee, he watched the people passing by—a couple sharing a laugh, a child chasing pigeons, an artist absorbed in sketching the scene before him. Paris was a tapestry of stories, each unfolding before his eyes. Inspired, Sea pulled out his camera and began capturing the moments, hoping to find solace in his art. Each click of the shutter felt like a small step toward healing, a way to process the emotions he had buried deep inside.
As the sun began its descent, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, Sea continued his exploration of Paris. He wandered until dusk, his camera capturing the essence of the city in the golden hour. The lights of Paris began to twinkle as the evening settled in, casting a magical glow over the streets and buildings.
When he finally made his way back to Force's apartment, Book and Force were there, their faces lighting up with relief and warmth as they saw him.
"Sea! How was your day?" Book asked, his voice a soothing balm after the solitude Sea had embraced.
Sea smiled, feeling a newfound sense of belonging despite his earlier solitude. "It was good. Paris is beautiful. Thank you for letting me have some time alone."
Force nodded, his eyes reflecting understanding and kindness. "Anytime, Sea. We're glad you had a good day."
They spent the evening together, sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. Force and Book recounted their adventures while Sea listened, occasionally adding his own observations from his solitary wanderings. The easy camaraderie and genuine care they shared made Sea feel lighter, more connected.
Sensing the lingering melancholy in the air and wanting to lift everyone's spirits, Force suggested, "How about we go to the nearby club? Drinks on me!"
Book's eyes lit up with excitement. "That sounds great!" He turned to Sea, whose immediate reaction was to shake his head.
"Nah, I don't think I..." Sea started, but before he could finish, Book grabbed his hand.
"Uh uh, don't try bailing out on this one, Sea," Book said, his eyes gleaming with playful determination.
"But P'Book..." Sea began to protest, only for Force to grab his other hand.
"Come on, Sea, don't be a mood killer," Force chimed in, his tone light and encouraging.
Feeling overwhelmed by their combined insistence and their infectious enthusiasm, Sea finally gave in with a reluctant smile. "Okay, okay. You guys win. Let's go."
Book and Force cheered, their energy infectious. The trio quickly got ready, their excitement building. Sea couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation mixed with a hint of nervousness. He had come to Paris seeking solace, and here he was, about to dive into the city's vibrant nightlife with two of his closest friends.
