Mother's Blessing

After Sea emerged from the kitchen, he was surprised to find his mother waiting for him outside his bedroom door. She took his hand gently and led him inside, where they sat down together.

"Sea, tell me honestly, do you love Jimmy?" his mother asked, her voice soft but probing.

Sea looked at his mother, surprised by the directness of her question, but he nodded without hesitation. "Mae, I've loved him for a long time, since high school," Sea confessed, his voice filled with sincerity.

Sea's mother nodded understandingly, her expression thoughtful. She patted Sea's hand gently. "Ever since you were young, your father and I have been preoccupied with our business. We haven't always been there for you, haven't always listened to what you needed. Your father has always wanted what he thought was best for you, but I just want you to be happy."

She paused, gathering her thoughts before continuing. "Jimmy spoke to me earlier. He asked for my permission. At first, I had doubts, but seeing how happy you are with him..." She lightly cupped Sea's cheek, her touch warm and reassuring. "And I can see how happy you are right now."

Sea felt a wave of relief wash over him. His mother's acceptance meant the world to him. He smiled gratefully, reaching up to cover his mother's hand with his own. "Thank you, Mae," he murmured, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders.

His mother returned his smile warmly. "You deserve to be happy, Sea. If Jimmy makes you happy, then that's all that matters."

Sea nodded, a sense of peace settling within him. He knew now, more than ever, that he had his mother's blessing. With Jimmy by his side, he felt ready to face whatever the future held, knowing he had her unwavering support.

Filled with his mother's blessing and support, Sea and Jimmy continued to strengthen their relationship. They faced challenges together, growing closer with each passing day. Sea's father, initially reserved about their relationship, gradually warmed up upon seeing how genuinely happy Sea was. 

As time went on, Sea and Jimmy built a life together, filled with love, understanding, and shared dreams. They supported each other through career changes, celebrated milestones with friends and family, and created a home that was a sanctuary for both.

Years later, Sea finished university and returned to Thailand, Jimmy picked him up from the airport. They drove back to Jimmy's condo, where Sea noticed the walls adorned with plaques and certificates, a testament to Jimmy's professional achievements.

Sea wrapped his arms around Jimmy's neck and smiled. "I'm so proud of you, Hia."

Jimmy kissed on Sea's lip, his eyes filled with love. "And I'm proud of you, too, Sea. You've come so far."

They held each other close, feeling the warmth of their shared journey and the promise of their future together.
