Growing Feeling

With the new living arrangement settled, Sea returned home to pack his belongings. As he gathered his things, his mother held his hand tightly, her eyes filled with concern.

"Sea, promise me you'll take care of yourself and stay out of trouble, alright?" she pleaded.

Sea nodded, giving her a reassuring look before heading out. "I will, Mae."

Settling into life with Jimmy proved challenging at first. Sea often struggled to focus on his studies, preferring to lounge on the couch playing games. His worksheets lay scattered across the living room table and floor, a chaotic scene that greeted Jimmy as he walked out of the bathroom.

"Sea," Jimmy said in a stern voice, "what did I say before I went to the bathroom?"

Sea put down his phone, looking slightly sheepish. "They're hard, Hia. I don't understand them."

Jimmy walked over, gathering the scattered sheets from the floor. He gently touched Sea's head.

"Sea, they're not that hard. The answers are in your notes. I don't expect you to get them all at once, but you have to try."

Sea nodded, feeling a mix of guilt and gratitude.

Over time, Sea's academic performance began to improve. The reckless behaviour that had once troubled his father gradually faded. He started to apply himself more in his studies, finding a balance with Jimmy's support and guidance.

As the months passed, the relationship between Sea and Jimmy deepened in ways neither of them fully understood. The once clear-cut bond of affection and gratitude began to blur, transforming into something more complex and profound. For Sea, these changes were confusing and exhilarating. What had started as simple admiration and a sense of security had morphed into feelings he couldn't easily label or dismiss.

Sea often found himself daydreaming about Jimmy, his thoughts drifting to him even during the most mundane moments. It wasn't just the comfort of having Jimmy nearby or the stability he provided; it was something much deeper. His heart fluttered whenever Jimmy smiled at him, and a warm, inexplicable joy filled him during their accidental touches or lingering conversations.

Sea's admiration for Jimmy's dedication, kindness, and quiet strength was evolving into something more intense—something that felt like love. One evening, as Sea sat at the kitchen table pretending to study, he found himself repeatedly glancing at Jimmy. Jimmy was absorbed in preparing dinner, moving with effortless grace, concentration etched on his face. The soft hum of a tune under his breath captivated Sea, making his heart ache in a way that was both beautiful and painful. He bit his lip, trying to make sense of these surging emotions.

For Jimmy, the situation was equally bewildering. He was navigating uncharted emotional territory, grappling with feelings he had never experienced before. He noticed how his heart would race at Sea's touch, how hugs lingered in his thoughts, and how their conversations left him feeling warm and exhilarated. These new emotions were unsettling, but their growing intensity was undeniable.

Sea's casual, sometimes provocative behaviour didn't help Jimmy's confusion. Sea often lounged around the apartment in very short pants, playing games on the sofa. Jimmy's breath would hitch at the sight of Sea's bare legs, an inexplicable heat rising within him. And when Sea walked around fresh from the shower, a towel wrapped low around his waist and his upper torso bare, Jimmy couldn't help but blush and feel his heart race.

The nights were particularly challenging. After watching a horror film, Sea would insist on sleeping with Jimmy to avoid nightmares. Sea's sleeping positions were anything but still; he would often wrap his arms and legs around Jimmy in a tight embrace.

One morning, Jimmy woke up to find Sea's limbs tangled around him, their bodies pressed closely together. As Sea shifted in his sleep, facing Jimmy, he wrapped his legs around Jimmy's torso and moved closer, his manhood brushing against Jimmy. Jimmy froze, a wave of unexpected arousal sweeping over him. He stared at Sea's peaceful face, his features softened by sleep, and felt a surge of emotions he couldn't control.

Sensing his own rising desire, Jimmy quickly and gently untangled himself from Sea, slipping out of bed and heading to the bathroom. Once inside, he splashed cold water on his face, trying to calm the storm of feelings churning inside him. He looked at himself in the mirror, questioning everything. What was happening to him? Why was he reacting this way?
